For the past week we have been hearing lots of talk about the Jets wanting to trade up to get into position to have a chance to draft Trent Richardson. Talk out of New York today confirms the fact it would have been far to costly to make the deal required to draft Richardson. The Jets will have to take their chances with the people they already have or get someone as a walk on. The Jets are going to have a interesting training camp as it is with the addition of Tim Tebow to the team. Many are wondering what role Tebow is going to play with the Jets this season. The New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan certainly had his hands full at the end of last season with all the talk coming form his locker room. Another situation that has surfaced lately was Braylon Edwards making a return to the New York Jets, little has been written lately concerning any ...

Jets inform Tebow he’ll be playing on special teams

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the New York Jets have told back up quarterback Tim Tebow that they will be using him on special teams as a punt protector.  Sounds like a joke to me, but it’s unfortunately true.
