Don't you just love the smell of hypocrisy on a Friday, especially when it comes from the NFL?
All of you certainly remember last Sunday when Pittsburgh Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel was flagged early in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Keisel was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct for performing his signature sack celebration, in which he pretends to be shooting an arrow on knee, after sacking quarterback Andy Dalton. It is a move that Keisel has done several times before, but the first time that he has been penalized for it.
If you need to be reminded of that play you Read more [...]

The 2012 season isn’t officially over for the Steelers until this Sunday when the clock hits zeros in their final contest against the Browns. By then they’ll either by a .500 team or finish with a losing record for the first time in Mike Tomlin’s career. The coaching staff in Pittsburgh has taken a lot of heat this season, mainly on the offensive side of the ball. Tomlin will...
Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace will not play in the season finale against the Cleveland Browns according to Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and that should not come as a big surprise.
Wallace, who has failed to practice all week because of a hip injury, will miss his first game since coming...
The Pittsburgh Steelers wrapped up their final practice of the 2012 season on Friday in preparation for the season finale Sunday at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns and the final injury report of the season is now out.
Not practicing again on Friday were wide receiver Mike Wallace (hip), cornerback Curtis Brown (ankle) and tackle Mike Adams (ankle) All three players have...
The Steelers are out of the playoffs, what motivation will they have to play the Browns this week?
Entering the last week of the season I'm sitting at 153-87. That's ok but not great. I'd like to be over 170 for the season, but it is what it is at this point. Let's finish strong.
With teams resting players and teams out, I'll also take a look at the...
There has been a lot of speculation as to whether or not Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau will return next year for what would be his 10th consecutive season with the team. On Thursday the 75-year-old defensive guru let it be known that he has every intention of returning in 2013 as long as head coach Mike Tomlin wants him back.
''Let's just say...
Former Pittsburgh Steelers center and coach Chuck Cherundolo has died in Florida at the age of 96.
His daughter, Pat Cherundolo, said Saturday that the former player died of heart failure on Dec. 22 in Lakeland.
Cherundolo played for the Steelers in the 1940s, taking a break to serve in the Navy during World War II. In 2007, the Steelers named him to their legends team, representing...
Mike Wallace’s four-year career with the Pittsburgh Steelers may have come to a close as the wide receiver was one of three players the team placed on injured reserve. Offensive tackle Mike Adams and cornerback Curtis Brown also were shut down a day before Sunday’s season finale at home against the Cleveland Browns. Wallace sat out practice this week with a hip injury after...
The Pittsburgh Steelers will close out their 2012 season Sunday at Heinz Field against the Cleveland Browns. Depending on how the flow of the game goes we could see several young players get some much needed playing time, especially if this game becomes a blowout.
Below are nine Steelers players to look for Sunday.
Steve McLendon - McLendon has played just over 125 snaps this season...

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in unfamiliar territory under coach Mike Tomlin: eliminated from postseason contention. The Cleveland Browns have become too accustomed to missing out on the playoffs, and mass changes in the organization could be on the way as a result.
On Sunday the Steelers will host the Browns, with Cleveland turning to inexperienced quarterback Thad Lewis as it looks...
Pittsburgh wide receiver Mike Wallace (hip, hamstring) has been placed on injured reserve. SOURCE: Bob Labriola, Steelers DigestFantasy Spin:No surprise here. With Wallace already ruled out for Sunday's game against Cleveland, the team needed to make a move to clear up a roster spot.

Cleveland Browns (5-10) at Pittsburgh Steelers (7-8)
Aside from this being a divisional matchup, this is a completely meaningless game for these two teams. Both are out of the playoffs. I have a rule against making significant plays on completely meaningless games. If the teams might not care about a game, I shouldn’t either. There’s just no way to predict what kind of effort...
