It’s that time of week. Time to man up and make your pick for this week’s game. Get it right, and you'll be invited to Vegas to join forces with some of the most powerful gamblers in the world: Ricky the Spider, Vito Clam Sauce, Armadillo Bob, and more. They'll call you the "Dream Team" if gamblers. You'll be expected to cruise through the rest of the season and win every week, finishing the season with untold riches. But soon you'll find that Armadillo Bob makes lousy bets at the last minute, and Vito Clam Sauce takes far too many risks. Soon, you'll lose everything, and you'll curse your Dream Team moniker forever. Fun! Here we go:
Peter King: Patriots 31, Cowboys 23. “I like the Patriots because they're more trustworthy late in games. Throughout games, actually.” So they’re more trustworthy. That’s all you needed to say.
Nine of Ten ESPN Experts: Patriots. The lone holdout? Mort. Oh, Mort. Eating out of the Double J’s hand, are you?

Peter King took to Twitter to express his thoughts on the Eagles recently and Mike Vick didn’t take too kindly to the terse tweet. Check out Peter’s tweet below and the video where MV7 responds. We have to admit, Peter King’s tweet was quite dumb and sloppy.
“Dumb and sloppy? I don’t even have a comment on that. Unless you played this game, I don’t even think you...
Terez is all in on Tony Romo @ NE Romo and the Cowboys are coming off one of the worst second half collapses ever. Romo will get Austin back and a healthy Dez Bryant to face off against a secondary they should easily expose. Couple that with the fact that Tom Brady will keep the scoreboard operator busy and ...
This is Tony Romo’s sixth year as an NFL starting quarterback, and it’s still tough to judge what kind of a quarterback he is.
At times, he looks like a world beater, keeping plays alive with his feet in a dynamic performance. Other times, he’s the guy blowing it for his team at the end, like against the Seahawks in the playoffs in’07. Patriots DT Albert Haynesworth was trying...

Before the Chris Cooley-Tony Romo story can be put to bed, we really should check in with the NFC East’s other Pro Bowl tight end and Tony Romo’s buddy, Jason Witten.
Witten, too, has a weekly sports-talk radio show, and the hosts, as was only proper, asked him about the Cooley Romo matter.
“You know, My granddad taught me when I was younger if you don’t have anything good...
Every Friday, Peter King and I join Russ Thaler for an NFL-only edition of NBC SportsTalk. And, every Friday, we identify five games that you need to watch. You therefore need to watch the show in order to find out which games you need to watch. Or you can watch it right here.
The first four or five weeks of the NFL season are the hardest to figure out. It takes a while to see who the surprise good teams are, and who the surprise bad teams are.Betting against the spread and managing your fantasy team gets much easier as the season goes on and we learn. Teams’ schedules vary so greatly from one year to the next, that half the league is never what it appears...
Finding balance is the key to just about any position on the field, but even more for quarterbacks. For Tony Romo, the challenge is to find a way to consistently make smart decisions in the fourth quarter without losing the aggressiveness.
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a much needed bye week, while the Patriots are looking to keep the ball rolling. The Cowboys are a game removed from an epic collapse against the Detroit Lions in which they blew a 27-3 lead in the second half. Tony Romo tossed three interceptions, two of which went for touchdowns. The Cowboys, however, will be getting one of their main weapons...
