TEAMS:
Baltimore Ravens
The Ravens are focused on the Super Bowl, but here's a look at the draft.

Check out Ray Lewis’ gold-colored Super Bowl cleats (Photos)
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis will retire in style with these gold-colored cleats that he’ll wear against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Under Armour’s FW13 cleats tell much of Lewis’ story. Lewis' kicks have “Psalms 91” on the toe — just like the T-shirt he wore under his pads during his final home game on Jan. 6.
Lights go out during Super Bowl
The Baltimore Ravens were turning out the lights on the San Francisco 49ers early in the second half of Super Bowl XLVII when the power inside the Louisiana Superdome did just that.
For the first time in Super Bowl history, an outage delayed the playing of the game. The power failed at 13:28 of the third quarter with the Ravens holding a 28-6 lead.

NFL Network declares 49ers SB winners
It appears that the NFL Network was not okay with the results from Super Bowl XXLVII and preferred that the San Francisco 49ers would be the Super Bowl winners rather than the Baltimore Ravens. It’s okay, it’s only the biggest game of the year, perfect time to not double-check what you’re reporting.[Photo via: @bubbaprog]

Looking for the longest kick return in Super Bowl history? Well, we here at Outside the Boxscore have it for you as Baltimore Ravens returner Jacoby Jones decided to take the opening second half kickoff back 108 yards for the score setting the record: For those of you wondering who the previous record belonged to, it was Chicago Bears returner Devin Hester in Super Bowl XLI:
THAT’S SO RAVEN: Baltimore wins Super Bowl XLVII
It was a tale of two halves Sunday at Super Bowl XLVII… As Baltimore totally dominated the first 30 minutes taking a 21-6 lead into halftime it looked as though the Ravens put the final nail into the San Francisco coffin when Jacoby Jones returned the opening kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown tying an [...]
D’Qwell Jackson: I wear No. 52 because of Ray Lewis
When a linebacker comes into the NFL, it’s like a receiver who wants to wear 80 because of Jerry Rice, or a running back who wants to wear 22 because of Emmitt Smith. I always wanted to wear 52 because of Ray Lewis. Ask Patrick Willis why he wears 52. It’s a tribute to the best we’ve ever seen. Just seeing his passion for the game, every game, was enough for me. Anytime I see...

Frank Gore: “We showed we were the better team”
Despite the fact that the Ravens’ defense owned the 49ers’ offense in the first half of Sunday night’s Super Bowl, San Francisco running back Frank Gore claims they let the Ravens win. “They got away with one,” said Gore, via The Associated Press, per NFL.com. “We showed we were the better team. It was just a couple plays here, a couple plays there.” Gore was shut...

NEW ORLEANS -- When the power went out at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco was lighting up the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl. Step Aside Mannings, Harbaugh Family Tree Far More Fascinating!
There will be no Mannings, not at Super Bowl XLVII.
It’s brother vs. brother, certainly, a historic Super Bowl tale of opposing coaches. You could say it’s brotherly love, a moment when John Harbaugh, coach of the Baltimore Ravens, will stand across the field from Jim Harbaugh, coach of the San Francisco 49ers Sunday to fight for a possession of the Vince Lombardi Trophy, a 22...
