TEAMS:
Tennessee Titans
The NFL rookie haircut hazing is an age old pastime. This year many teams decided the ‘dong’ cut was the cut of the year. The Tennessee Titans kept their haircuts PG-13, but pretty much butchered every rookie on the team. For that we give them the Haircut Award.
The question is; would you rather have your haircut like these dudes or thrown in an ice cold tub, or taped to a goal post and harassed? I think I’d go cold tub with a lot of uncertainty.

Titans WR Marc Mariani breaks leg in gruesome injury (Video)
Lower guys on the totem pole are busting their tails to fill the last few available roster spots while the starters and confirmed back-ups are trying to get sharp and stay healthy. But preseason football is still football. And with football comes nasty gruesome injuries. Marc Mariani, a third-year receiver for the Tennessee Titans, was the unfortunate victim of a disgusting...
Titans WR Marc Mariani Snaps Leg On Kickoff; Not For Those With Weak Stomachs!
We had to wait until week three of the preseason for a brutal, cringe-worthy injury, but thanks to Marc Mariani we now have one. Mariani, a third year pro, was returning a kick in last nights game against the Cardinals when his leg got tangled up on his way to the ground. The end result was something grizzly, something that would cause more pain than we hope to endure in a lifetime...
Titans have QB, gearing up offense next challenge
Jake Locker is looking much more like the quarterback the Titans thought he could be when they drafted him at No. 8 overall in 2011.
Now Locker and Tennessee's offense must figure out how to spend more time on the field.
The Titans had only 47 offensive plays in Thursday night's 32-27 win over Arizona, and they converted only 3 of 13 third downs while staying on the field...
Titans WR/KR Marc Mariani's Injury Hastens Need For WR Kenny Britt
The injury to Tennessee Titans receiver Marc Mariani has put the Titans in a potentially bad situation at the position now.

Tennessee Titans extend CB Jason McCourty
The Titans are taking a risk giving McCourty this 5 year, 43 million dollar deal with 20 million guaranteed. McCourty was actually thrown on more frequently than any cornerback in the league last year, being thrown on once every 4.6 coverage snaps. However, this was because opposing quarterbacks feared throwing on Cortland Finnegan, the opposite cornerback and the Titans’ #1 cornerback...
It’s only preseason, but Titans fans are letting their freak flags fly (photo)
Hey, why so glum, guys? Your Tennessee Titans squad is winning…a meaningless preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals that saw punt returner Marc Mariani break both his tibia and fibula in a horrific, grisly scene. Oh, and you guys presumably also paid full price for those tickets, as in the same amount for a regular [...]
Locker has 2 TDs as Titans beat Cardinals
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Jake Locker showed why the Tennessee Titans picked him as their starting quarterback. The Arizona Cardinals leave town still trying to figure out their own situation after neither John Skelton nor Kevin Kolb looked very impressive.

It was a lot more interesting late than it was early, but the Titans tonight improved to 2-1 in the preseason with a 32-27 win over the Arizona Cardinals thanks to a fourth-quarter touchdown run by Jamie Harper. The bigger storylines out of the game, though, were Jake Locker's first start as a starter and a gruesome injury that will cost Marc Mariani the 2012 season.Jake Locker...

Tennessee Titans second preseason game review: Defense
I've covered Jake Locker and the rest of the offense, which means it's time for me to turn my attention to how the Titans' defense performed in the second preseason game against the Buccaneers. As was the case with the offense, the numbers on the statsheet are impressive: six first downs and only 81 net yards of offense, with 33 of those coming on the Bucs' final possession...
