The way too early odds to win Super Bowl LIII

All 32 NFL teams are looking toward 2018, and fans of each have some hope. Here's a look at the odds to win Super Bowl LIII. Odds are from Sportsbook.ag, as of Jan. 24, 2018.

New England Patriots: 6/1

It's hard to make a better case for any other team to win Super Bowl LIII if Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are still around next season. After a recent ESPN report of unrest in Foxborough, that's not exactly a foregone conclusion. Plus, Brady will be 41 next season, and there have been rumors that his family is trying to pull him away from the game.

Philadelphia Eagles: 10/1

Philadelphia Eagles: 10/1

The Eagles had the best record in the NFC and marched through the playoffs without starting quarterback Carson Wentz. They have most of their key pieces set to return next season, though Wentz is somewhat questionable for the start of the year as he returns from a torn ACL.

Pittsburgh Steelers: 10/1

Pittsburgh Steelers: 10/1

The mystery of whether Ben Roethlisberger would return next season was ended just as the Steelers' offseason began, but Le'Veon Bell is set for free agency and the team lost offensive coordinator Todd Haley. The defense also needs to make some upgrades, especially with linebacker Ryan Shazier's football future in doubt.

Green Bay Packers: 12/1

Green Bay Packers: 12/1

It was an unfortunate year for the Packers due to Aaron Rodgers' collarbone injury. His value to the franchise was on full display, but the team has plenty of hope for a rebound if Rodgers is healthy. The team also addressed the defense already by firing longtime coordinator Dom Capers and hiring acclaimed defensive mind Mike Pettine to replace him.

Minnesota Vikings: 12/1

Minnesota Vikings: 12/1

The Vikings got very close to the promised land, but it took a miracle touchdown at the end of the Divisional Round against the Saints to reach the NFC Championship Game. There are huge questions about who will be behind center next season with Case Keenum, Sam Bradford and Teddy Bridgewater free to go elsewhere this offseason. Offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur also left to coach the Giants.

Dallas Cowboys: 20/1

Dallas Cowboys: 20/1
Bill Streicher / USA Today Sports Images

The Cowboys' season unraveled when Ezekiel Elliott finally had to serve his six-game suspension late in the year. Bringing back Demarcus Lawrence will be a huge priority for owner Jerry Jones, and the expectations will be high for Dak Prescott and head coach Jason Garrett.

Atlanta Falcons: 20/1

Atlanta Falcons: 20/1
Brad Penner / USA Today Sports Images

Despite a lackluster year from the offense, the Falcons took the Eagles down to the wire on the road in the Divisional Round. They expect improvement from offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and company, but the defense did make significant strides.

Los Angeles Rams: 20/1

Los Angeles Rams: 20/1
Gary A. Vasquez / USA Today Sports Images

Sean McVay had quite a first year as head coach of the Rams, but the team's season ended unceremoniously with a blowout home playoff loss to the Falcons. There is optimism the offense can take another step forward, but on the defensive side of the ball the organization has to get Aaron Donald's contract situation figured out.

New Orleans Saints: 20/1

New Orleans Saints: 20/1
Scott Clause / USA Today Sports Images

An amazing 2017 draft spurred the Saints in the NFC this season, with Drew Brees making a late-career run as he approaches age 40. Alvin Kamara was the headliner at running back, but the defense also got huge contributions from Marshon Lattimore and Marcus Williams. The team expects more improvement on defense with a year under their rookies' belts, but the Saints could have a hard time overcoming Williams' memorable nightmare in the playoffs.

Houston Texans: 20/1

Houston didn't get to see rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson for long in his first year, but what it did see was mighty impressive. He will return from a knee injury to hopefully boost an explosive offense, while the defense hopes J.J. Watt and Whitney Mercilus will be at full strength. Romeo Crennel is set to regain defensive coordinator duties after Mike Vrabel took the head coaching job for the rival Titans.

San Francisco 49ers: 25/1

San Francisco 49ers: 25/1

49ers fans have Jimmy Garoppolo fever after what he showed late in 2017. The team was a perfect 5-0 in his starts late in the year, and the offense continues to come together under head coach Kyle Shanahan. The defense also made strides, though that's not saying much after a pitiful showing in 2016.

Jacksonville Jaguars: 27/1

Jacksonville Jaguars: 27/1
David Butler II / USA Today Sports Images

The Jags emerged as an elite defense in 2017 and took the Patriots down to the wire in the AFC Championship. The big question going forward continues to be quarterback, but Blake Bortles probably did enough over his last two playoff games to earn himself another opportunity with the Jags. The defensive roster will be loaded again next season, and Leonard Fournette hopes for an encore in his sophomore season.

Kansas City Chiefs: 30/1

Kansas City Chiefs: 30/1
Jay Biggerstaff / USA Today Sports Images

The Chiefs had a very disappointing loss to Tennessee in the Wild Card Round, which marked the end of Alex Smith's time in K.C. Patrick Mahomes looked spectacular in his Week 17 start, while Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce and Kareem Hunt provide the team with incredible offensive firepower. Now the questions move to defense, but the organization is optimistic the return of Eric Berry from an Achilles injury will offset what's set to be a painful offseason as Derrick Johnson and Tamba Hali near the end of their time with the organization.

Carolina Panthers: 30/1

Carolina Panthers: 30/1
Stephen Lew / USA Today Sports Images

The Panthers had a solid year but fell short of their goals after going 15-1 and making it to the Super Bowl in 2015. Cam Newton continues to take more hits than the team would like, and Carolina will have to overcome losing its defensive coordinator for the second straight year.

Oakland Raiders: 30/1

Oakland Raiders: 30/1
Kirby Lee / USA Today Sports Images

Relative to expectations, the 2017 season was a debacle for the Raiders, as Derek Carr and the offense took a major step back. They hope to remedy that regression with the hiring of Jon Gruden. He's bringing a new coaching staff, including former Bengals defensive coordinator Paul Guenther.

16 of 32

Seattle Seahawks: 30/1

Seattle Seahawks: 30/1
Steven Bisig / USA Today Sports Images

After missing the playoffs, Pete Carroll reshuffled his coaching staff by replacing his coordinators with Brian Schottenheimer and Ken Norton Jr. Neither hire was met with much praise from the media or fans. The organization is grasping at straws with a defense that has aged quickly, but Russell Wilson has been outstanding despite often running for his life behind center.

17 of 32

Denver Broncos: 40/1

Denver Broncos: 40/1
Geoff Burke / USA Today Sports Images

Vance Joseph will return to lead the Broncos for the second straight year after a disappointing season. The team badly needs to address the quarterback position, as Paxton Lynch doesn't look like the answer after two seasons, and the defense is likely to lose Aqib Talib.

18 of 32

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 40/1

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 40/1
Reinhold Matay / USA Today Sports Images

Injuries played a big role in a lost year for Jameis Winston and the Bucs. Head coach Dirk Koetter will get at least one more shot to prove he's the right man for the job, and he has plenty of weapons at his disposal heading into next season.

19 of 32

Los Angeles Chargers: 40/1

Los Angeles Chargers: 40/1
Kirby Lee / USA Today Sports Images

The Chargers put themselves in a huge hole early in the season that they were unable to escape, despite playing better as the season progressed. The team did show strong flashes on both sides of the ball in head coach Anthony Lynn's first season, but the window is closing with Philip Rivers entering his late 30s.

Indianapolis Colts: 40/1

Indianapolis Colts: 40/1
Trevor Ruszkowski / USA Today Sports Images

Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels will have limited depth to work with in his new job, but he's hoping for progress with the return of Andrew Luck from a shoulder injury. Luck's health is far from a sure thing given his recent setbacks, but the team's immediate upside is strong if McDaniels does get a healthy Luck.

Arizona Cardinals: 50/1

Arizona Cardinals: 50/1
Mark J. Rebilas / USA Today Sports Images

New head coach Steve Wilks has his hands full taking over a Cardinals team without a starting quarterback following Carson Palmer's retirement, and it's possible that Larry Fitzgerald will follow. Still, the organization has plenty of talent, led by the return of running back David Johnson, and isn't far removed from being competitive in the NFC.

22 of 32

Detroit Lions: 50/1

Detroit Lions: 50/1
David Kohl / USA Today Sports Images

Matt Patricia takes over as the Lions head coach after Jim Caldwell failed to meet expectations in 2017. With Matthew Stafford under center, the Lions certainly have a shot to ascend quickly, but they need to address the running game once and for all.

23 of 32

Baltimore Ravens: 50/1

Baltimore Ravens: 50/1
Tommy Gilligan / USA Today Sports Images

The Ravens have now gone three straight seasons without making the playoffs, and the end of their 2017 season was particularly brutal with a heartbreaking loss to Cincinnati. The team has been getting old on both sides of the ball, and Joe Flacco hasn't shown himself to be the type of quarterback who can make teammates significantly better. There could be some major turnover this offseason.

Tennessee Titans: 50/1

Tennessee Titans: 50/1
Charles LeClaire / USA Today Sports Images

Despite making the playoffs and winning one playoff game, head coach Mike Mularkey departed following the season. The inexperienced Mike Vrabel could add a spark to the team, but the organization really wants to see better play from Marcus Mariota and a talented stable of receivers.

25 of 32

Miami Dolphins: 75/1

Miami Dolphins: 75/1
Brett Davis / USA Today Sports Images

Ryan Tannehill is set to return from his knee injury, but re-signing Jarvis Landry will be an important offseason to-do. The inconsistency of the defense needs to be addressed as well. It also remains to be seen if the team is comfortable with Kenyan Drake at running back or addresses the spot again.

26 of 32

New York Giants: 75/1

New York Giants: 75/1
Noah K. Murray / USA Today Sports Images

Pat Shurmur is taking over a team that imploded in 2017, but the Giants were successful the previous season. It becomes more likely Eli Manning will play another year in New York with the hire, and he has plenty of viable options at his disposal with the return of Odell Beckham Jr. and tight end Evan Engram.

27 of 32

Washington Redskins: 75/1

Washington Redskins: 75/1
Eric Hartline / USA Today Sports Images

The Skins wasted no time, acquiring Alex Smith during Super Bowl week and effectively saying goodbye to Kirk Cousins. The move came at a heavy cost, both with the trade of cornerback Kendall Fuller and a new $71 million guaranteed contract extension for Smith. The organization hopes to have better health all around next year after losing multiple running backs and tight end Jordan Reed in 2017.

Buffalo Bills: 100/1

Buffalo Bills: 100/1
Timothy T. Ludwig / USA Today Sports Images

The Bills have been shedding talent over the last year, but they're now flush with early draft picks in 2018. That's good timing considering that the organization hasn't been happy with its quarterback situation, and the roster talent is lacking around running back LeSean McCoy.

29 of 32

Cincinnati Bengals: 125/1

Cincinnati Bengals: 125/1
Tommy Gilligan / USA Today Sports Images

It was a shock to many that the Bengals brought back Marvin Lewis for another year. The core remains the same with Andy Dalton, Joe Mixon and A.J. Green, but the offensive line and defense have some major holes that need to be filled.

Chicago Bears: 150/1

Chicago Bears: 150/1
Kamil Krzaczynski / USA Today Sports Images

Chicago hired Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy to develop quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Finding weapons on the outside to help Trubisky should be a top priority this offseason, but the team does have an enviable running back situation between Jordan Howard and Tarik Cohen.

Cleveland Browns: 150/1

Cleveland Browns: 150/1
Scott Galvin / USA Today Sports Images

The Browns are now 1-31 in two seasons after going a "perfect" 0-16 in 2017. They've entrusted the very capable John Dorsey as GM after he was let go by Kansas City, and they have loads of cap space to go along with the No. 1 pick. It still remains to be seen if Hue Jackson is the right man for the head coaching job, however.

New York Jets: 150/1

New York Jets: 150/1
Brad Penner / USA Today Sports Images

Even the Jets' five wins in 2017 were a pleasant surprise to some, but the roster still has a long way to go. It remains to be seen if Josh McCown will be back as he approaches age 40, and top wideout Robby Anderson had a major run-in with the law early in the offseason. Head coach Todd Bowles promoted Jeremy Bates to offensive coordinator, but the front office needs to help him this offseason.
