FLORHAM PARK–So, Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall said he plans to get into a fight with Bart Scott and Antonio Cromartie and get ejected from the game in the second quarter. And the response from the Jets? A metaphorical yawn. “I’m just happy that he’s not picking on me to fight him,” Rex Ryan laughed. “We had that issue before and quite honestly, I was a little nervous running across that field….If he wants to get kicked out of the game in the second quarter, I think he should.” Mike Pettine smiled when asked about Marshall saying he’s planning to get thrown out and said, “As long as it’s not a one-for-one trade, I’m all for it.” As for Cromartie, he and Marshall have been friends since high school. “He had to give y’all something to write about,” Cromartie said. Brian Schottenheimer is taking a lot of criticism, to which LaDainian Tomlinson responded. “It’s unfair because (Schottenheimer) is not the one that is out there throwing the ball, catching it, running it, blocking,” Tomlinson
