According to Jason LaCanfora of the NFL Network, the Detroit Lions have to work out an extension for wide receiver Calvin Johnson because his cap number for the 2012 season will be over $21 million, since he hit all of the escalators in his contract during the 2011 season.
If the Lions can’t restructure Johnson’s deal, it will make it very difficult for them to get an extension...

The Lions are taking an innovative approach to football next season by replacing their offensive line with a 10-foot tall building that Matthew Stafford can throw off of. Judging by today's 7-on-7 drills with some bum receivers from ESPN, the results are promising: 6-of-10, with a couple drops and zero QB pressures.
