Denver Broncos tight end Jacob Tamme is excited about the arrival of receiver Wes Welker and the Broncos offense going into the second year under Peyton Manning. Any tight end would be as Welker takes the heat off the position playing from the slot. Welker's presence prevents any double teams in the middle of the field on Tamme, giving him more room to work. Couple that with Manning's ability to read the defenses pre-snap and make the correct adjustments, Tamme could be looking at a big year. According to Stuart Zaas of DenverBroncos.com, Tamme feels the offense can be even better in 2013. "Wes is awesome," Tamme said. "It's great to have him here. It's been great to get to know him the past few days. He's going to be a great addition to our team. We've got a lot of guys that can do a lot of different things." "I think we can definitely be better," he said. "We did good things last year, but I think we have a group of guys that aren't real satisfied with just doing good things. I think we want to win a Super Bowl. That sort of thing starts now. It starts with getting the playbook down, getting all the changes, getting this right, getting that corrected, watching what we did last year, seeing where we can improve. I think we've got a group of guys that are doing a good job of that right now."

The NFL is not afraid of bad weather...

Broncos Von Miller, thinks the 2013 team will be superior, in 2013. How much better can they be? Undefeated?

The Broncos Von Miller better be careful of the statements he is making. The 2013 season hasn’t even started yet and he is predicting a “far superior team.  There is nothing wrong with Miller optimism. The team had a great season last year and to be superior to a 13-3 season is asking a lot. Sure, the Broncos could have done better in the play-offs, but to improve on a 13 win...

20 NFL rookies who can have a big fantasy impact

I thought since I am a fantasy football junkie, I would let you all in on my dirty little secrets when it comes to fantasy football.  I have come up with 20 players that I believe could become the steal of the fantasy draft.  I remember last year drafting Alfred Morris in the 18th round.  I was laughed at but looked like a genius when I was in the championship.  So here are a...

Tom Brady celebrates big win at the Derby?

So, apparently Tom Brady and co. have some sort of connection to the owners of Orb, who won the Kentucky Derby yesterday. You can see Brady and his crew of former Patriots: Dan Koppen, Tedy Bruschi and Wes Welker go nuts over the win with the owners. Apparently Brady didn't want to go down to the winner's circle though, implying he probably didn't have much invested...

Von Miller Not Putting All His Eggs in NFL Basket, Starts Chicken Farm For His Future (Photo)

Chicks dig linebackers. At least, the ones living with Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller do. The chicks in question, though, are actual chickens. In a unique move, the two-time pro bowler has purchased 38 chickens to raise on his eight-acre property near Dallas. T.J. Moe Shrugs Off Comparisons to Wes Welker, Says He’s Just Trying to Make Patriots Roster

FOXBORO, Mass. — The minute T.J. Moe stepped on the field at Gillette Stadium to speak with the media, he was met with a question about Wes Welker. The comparisons between the two players are obvious. Both went undrafted, both use short-area quickness and agility more than straight-line speed to get separation, both are under 6-foot (despite Moe’s generous listing) and both excel...

AFC West: post-draft stock watch

Denver Broncos, FLAT: Although the Broncos didn't add any blockbuster picks in the draft, the addition of Wes Welker should add an extra weapon to the Broncos offense. The  Broncos are still the kings of the AFC West, and they're still going to be included in any preseason Super Bowl talk, so we'll label them as just flat lining. San Diego Chargers, SLIGHTLY RISING...

Le’Veon Bell Fantasy Forecast 2013

Most of us expected Alabama standout running back Eddie Lacy to be taken as the No. 1 running back in the 2013  NFL Draft. That title, however, now belongs to former Michigan State running back Le’Veon Bell after being drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers with the 48th overall selection. At 6’1, 230lbs, Bell is a beast of a man and a perfect fit for the Steelers ground and pound...
