Remember how Tim Tebow said Wednesday that he already received a nice voicemail from Mark Sanchez the day he was traded to the Jets? Yeah, well so much for playing nicely. The New York Daily News reports that Tebow chose to be traded to the Jets over the Jags because he feels he can beat out Sanchez and become the starter. Tebow denies being consulted in the trade talks, but reports, and John Elway, say otherwise. The first report suggested Tebow chose the Jets because he felt more wanted by their coaches and front office. The Daily News report supports that claim and says owner Shahid Khan was the only Jags representative who wanted Tebow. We offered another potential reason for Tebow’s preference to go to the Jets over the Jags — New York gives him a larger platform to spread his religious message. The Daily News report seems to be pretty obvious; wouldn’t Tebow feel that he can beat out Sanchez for the job? Sanchez struggled last season and Tebow beat him head-to-head. Maybe...

Tebow should provide jolt to Sanchez

OK, so now reports have surfaced that this Tim Tebow to N.Y. deal may die because, of all things, the Jets do not like language in the contract they may or may not have read. So my reaction to this news is more of an if, as in if this happens. If this does kill the deal, well, my apologies for wasting your time. If not and the Jets pony up, the $5 mil, though, I promise it will be...

His family...

Even the Statue Of Liberty knows how to "Tebow" (Picture)

As you may figure, many New York newspapers had a little bit of fun with their headlines and cover pages after the Jets acquired Tim Tebow. The New York Daily News decided to go beyond the call of duty and showed the Statue of Liberty Tebowing: (Courtesy of New York Daily News)

Totally Inexplicable!

Tim Tebow is coming to New York. Really. After a big false start, the New York Jets pulled off a Tebow-like comeback Wednesday night, getting the quarterback who turned the Denver Broncos from an also-ran into a playoff team last season and became the NFL’s most talked-about player — for a fourth- and sixth-round draft pick. Now, Tebowmania is opening on Broadway. And, there’s...

Report: Jets trade 4th round pick for Tim Tebow

According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, the New York Jets have traded a fourth round pick to the Denver Broncos for quarterback Tim Tebow. Now Jets head coach Rex Ryan and offensive coordinator Tony Sparano can run the wildcat as much as they want.  Even though the wildcat is pretty much a joke in the NFL right now. I would love to see Tebow and Antonio Cromartie in the locker room...
