Following Sunday’s 51-20 loss to the Chicago Bears, Tennessee Titans Owner Bud Adams said he’s never been more humiliated in his life. It was a start-to-finish beatdown of his team, and nothing about the loss looked positive for the struggling franchise. He let everyone know on Sunday night that all of their jobs were on the line as he evaluated his team. “In my 50 years of owning an NFL franchise, I am at a loss to recall a regular-season home game that was such a disappointment for myself and fans of the Titans,” Adams told Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean via NFL.com. “We were grossly outcoached and outplayed from start to finish today. Bud Adams is growing frustrated with the Titans not putting a winning product on the field. (Kirby Lee-US Presswire) “At this time, all aspects of the organization will be closely evaluated, including front office, coaches and players over the next seven games. If performance and competitiveness does not improve, I will look at all alternatives to get back to having the Titans become a playoff and championship football team.” Things haven’t gone well for the team since Jeff Fisher and Bud Adams decided to go their seperate ways after Fisher was the longest tenured head coach in the NFL at the time. Fisher spent 16 years with the team and led them to the playoffs multiple times in his run. Mike Munchak shouldn’t feel too comfortable in his own shoes at this point as things haven’t gone well for the Hall of Famer. The running game has struggled since signing RB Chris Johnson to a Mega-Millions deal and they have yet to determine if Jake Locker can be the QB of the future – and they might not have the chance. If the Titans don’t turn things around in the second half of the season, I have a feeling that Adams will clean house, from General Manager Ruston Webster to the guys that deliver Gatorade to players on gameday. Adams will turn 90 years old in January, and he unfortunately won’t be around forever. He’d like to see his team compete for a title before he moves on from them, and I don’t blame him. Hopefully they right the ship and pull it together, if not, they know their jobs are on the line. Let’s see if they play for them.     The post Titans’ Bud Adams: “All aspects of the Organization will be closely evaluated” appeared first on DOWN & DISTANCE.
