The NFL fined Titans defensive end Scott Solomon $15,750 for his low hit on Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford last Sunday. Said Solomon: “I am going to try and correct that so it doesn’t happen next time," Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports.

Titans guard Leroy Harris was fined $10,000 for unnecessary roughness (late hit).

Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers, meanwhile, was not fined for throwing Lions quarterback Shaun Hill to the ground late in the fourth quarter. His roughing the passer penalty wiped off an interception and gave the Lions new life.

Is it time for the Titans to trade Chris Johnson?

It’s 2012 and the Tennessee Titans need to finally trade Chris Johnson or better known in 2012 as CJ2 yards per carry to another team soon. It’s not based on the fact he has only rushed for 45 yards on 33 carries for a grand total of 1.4 yards per carry or his drop in production from the year he rushed for 2,006 yards in 2009. It’s based on what the future of this Tennessee...

Days of CJ2K as an elite RB may be history

Nashville, TN. 19 rushing attempts for 21 yards. That is an ugly stat for any running back after just two weeks into any given NFL season. But those are the exact statistics for Tennessee Titans running back Chris Johnson, who is having a rough go of it to say the least to begin 2012. It has been just over one year since Johnson ended his holdout during the summer of 2011. On...

NFL Rumors: With Defenses No Longer Respecting Chris Johnson, Should Tennessee Titans Bench Him?

The Tennessee Titans are in a difficult position. They paid running back Chris Johnson quite handsomely prior to last season. After a lengthy holdout, Johnson struggled mightily to resemble the player who ran for over 2,000 yards in the 2009 season. While many were hoping that was a result of his time missed, the Titans are looking for reasons why Johnson is averaging just 1.4 yards...

Is Chris Johnson The First Player Fantasy Football Destroyed?

If you owned the Titans' Chris Johnson in fantasy for the 2009 season, you probably won your league.  It was an "LT-esque" year for the then second year back, single handily defeating opponents each game.   Just look at his stat line: 2,006 YDS, 5.6 YPC, 14 TD // 50 REC, 503 ReYDS, 2 ReTDJohnson was most likely the number one player selected in drafts of 2010, and...

Titans Concerned About WR Kenny Britt’s Status For Week 4

Jim Wyatt reports that Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt missed another practice on Thursday because of the ankle injury that he has been dealing with in recent weeks. Head coach Mike Munchak mentioned that he is actually ”more nervous” about Britt, than he is about TE Jared Cook, who is dealing with a shoulder injury. Britt expressed frustration regarding his current situation...

Kenny Britt held out of practice

According to Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean, Titans wide receiver Kenny Britt didn’t practice on Thursday and tight end Jared Cook was limited. With Britt now back on the field, the Titans’ passing attack is even more potent.   He had six receptions for 55 yards in last week’s win over the Lions.

The much-loved Tennessee Titans are coming to visit this Sunday to Reliant, as they stand in the way of the Houston Texans pushing their season record to 4-0. Tennessee Titans at Houston Texans: Week 4 NFL Pick

Tennessee Titans (1-2) at Houston Texans (3-0) In my power rankings this week, I poked holes in pretty much every other team in the league. I can’t do that with the Texans. They are without a flaw. Winning in Denver in the high altitude against a talented team and a no huddle offense is damn impressive and 3 games into the season, this is the Super Bowl favorite and the most complete...
