Veteran pass rusher Antwan Odom is nearing a comeback, and several teams have expressed interest in the 30-year-old, according to league sources. Odom, who had become an elite pass rusher for the Cincinnati Bengals, missed all of last season due to a wrist injury. There were complications from wrist surgery where a pin was inserted, resulting in an injury settlement. The defensive lineman is now about a month away from being able to return, and the Tennessee Titans and Atlanta Falcons are among the teams monitoring him, sources said. He has begun light lifting and making good progress, a source added. Source: NFL.com

Today, Alex Marvez reported on Twitter that former Bengals RB Cedric Benson has not gotten a call yet from an interested NFL team.
After the draft that will definitely change as not everyone will be able to address their needs at the RB position.
Either they won’t get who they want or the well will run dry in later rounds after they have addressed other needs they deem more pressing...

Anything for a buck huh T.O.?
In his latest publicity stunt, Terrell Owens has agreed to appear on Dr. Phil with 3 or 4 of his baby mamas. Even though rumor has it that the producers of the show were actually the ones who reached out, I’m sure T.O. wasn’t too stand off-ish in charging a quick appearance fee.
The show, which will air on May 1, will feature Owens talking about the child...

The Bengals made a number of free agent additions to the defense over the past month, but gauging how much better they have made themselves in the process is difficult. They added four guys who were drafted in the first round but dide not make the impact that was expected of them. If two of [...]
Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton was back in the locker room at Paul Brown Stadium for the start of the team's offseason conditioning program looking more relaxed.
After a rookie year in which he became the first rookie quarterback not selected in the first round to start all 16 games and lead his team to the playoffs, Dalton is eager to see what the offense can do with a true...
The Cincinnati Bengals (9-7) select: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame The Bengals biggest need is probably a #2 Wide Receiver. To start the off season it could have been argued it was Guard or Corner, but those needs have been covered up for the most part. I think Michael Floyd is going to fall a [...]
Hey Bengals fans! If you were unable to catch the show this week, here is how the 2nd Annual Live Mock Draft ended up. What did you make of this mock draft? Send us your thoughts to email@example.com or leave a comment below.
Indoor Football League star Terrell Owens is scheduled to appear on Dr. Phil in a few weeks. Is it because T.O. is a compelling figure with a redemption story worth sharing with stay-at-home moms and the unemployed? Nope, it’s for the usual daytime TV human despair reasons, namely deadbeat dad issues.
Per Larry Brown Sports:
The episode, which we’re told will air on May 1, will...
The NFL Draft is less than a week away, and the Bengals find themselves in a better position than normal. No top 10 picks. Few gaping holes in the roster. There is a lot of flexibility in this draft, which means multiple strategies could be in play, whether in terms of picks or trades. The [...]
For the first time since 2007, the Cincinnati Bengals will square off against the Baltimore Ravens in a “Primetime” Monday Night Football game on September 10 at 7pm. With all the excitement from the release of the NFL schedules, fans get to see two of the premier teams in the league such as the Bengals and Ravens make that Monday Night debut at M&T Bank Stadium.
Wide receiver Jerome Simpson is slated to visit the Minnesota Vikings on Saturday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Fantasy Spin: Simpson has off-the-field issues and is facing a suspension of at least four games stemming from his drug possession charge, but the Vikings do need a dynamic receiver to complement Percy Harvin on the outside, and Simpson flashed big-time potential...

On Thursday we summarized our top draft picks in franchise history and if that's the first time you've had the honor of reading it, did you seriously think that No. 1 would be anyone other than Anthony Munoz? But with the successes of the NFL draft, comes the failures, the rock-bottoms, the not-so great moments with any franchise'...
Quite often during the draft, the Bengals are a team that could be designated as "second round benefactors". Sometimes that can be attributed to the fact that they have a high draft position because of a poor prior season, while other times it's just a matter of a quality player slipping to them later in the round. More often than not, a second round choice is relied...
