Titans head coach Mike Munchak has shown a steadfast commitment to rookie Jake Locker, who Munchak continues to say will return to the starting lineup once his injured left shoulder is healed — despite backup Matt Hasselbeck engineering consecutive fourth-quarter wins for the club. However, Pro Football Weekly hears the club could be extra cautious with Locker’s shoulder, perhaps allowing Hasselbeck to remain as the starter for a few more weeks. If the Titans continue to win, it will be interesting to see if Munchak’s tune changes, as there are those in the Titans' locker room who, while remaining committed to Locker, have said off the record that they do not envy the situation Munchak could soon find himself in. Chris Johnson is a different kind of running back

The Indianapolis Colts' run defense has been more of a picket fence than a stone wall thus far this season. Through six games, the Colts are giving up over 140 yards per game on the ground, seventh worst in the NFL. Their 4.8 yards per carry allowed is fifth worst.  It's not like the Colts have been facing the NFL's dregs, however. Adrian Peterson, Maurice Jones...

The Titans are shuffling through the season, but where are they going. A look at their remaining schedule and the AFC South.

The Titans are under the radar but winning games here and there.  They have talent on both sides of the ball, they just don't have an exciting team. Here's a look at their remaining schedule, predictions and the rest of their division. Titans Savior Matt Hasselback

“The Freak,” “Air McNair,” and good old Eddie George. The days have passed since the Music City Miracle. Far from it, actually. The Tennessee Titans have had some troubles since their noted run to the Super Bowl. A few 10-win seasons here and there, but the Titans haven’t broken the double digit mark since 2008. Chris Johnson, the Titans’ star running back out of East...

Titans place RB Ringer on IR

Running back Javon Ringer was placed on season-ending injured reserve by the Tennessee Titans with a torn ACL. Chris Johnson's primary backup, Ringer dealt with an infection in his arm earlier this season before suffering the knee injury during a loss to the Minnesota Vikings. He finishes the 2012 season with just two carries for 14 yards. Ringer has 486 career rushing yards...

Titans Place RB Javon Ringer On IR

The Titans signed S Tracy Wilson from their practice squad on Friday and placed RB Javon Ringer on injured reserve. Ringer only played in two games this season and had two carries for 14 yards and three catches for 12 yards. He injured his left knee against the Vikings in Week Five. Wilson joined Tennessee’s practice squad after final cuts. He spent six weeks on the Jets’...

Colts' Davis sprains knee, Titans RT Stewart hurt

Colts cornerback Vontae Davis sprained his left knee against Tennessee, and the Titans had two offensive linemen hurt on the same play. Davis went down defending Chris Johnson on a run on the opening drive. He stayed on the field for a couple minutes before walking off, and his return is questionable. He was replaced by Cassius Vaughn. Later in the drive, right tackle David Stewart...

Luck continues as Colts win in overtime

Andrew Luck continues to resemble the man he replaced in Indianapolis. The first overall pick in the 2012 draft has become the face of the Colts and that continued on Sunday. On the first drive of overtime Luck found Vick Ballard for a 16 yard touchdown which gave the Colts a 19-13 win. The Colts trailed until late in the fourth. A one-yard Delone Carter run tied the score up at...

Titans fall to Colts in OT, 19-13

The Tennessee Titans had their chances to win, and should have won, but fell to the Indianapolis Colts 19-13 in overtime.  Frankly, I wasn't surprised by the loss but was surprised at the way(s) the Titans lost - I was expecting a high-scoring game, something along the lines of 38-35.   The game was not particularly well officiated - there were some questionable...

Titans Rule OT Michael Roos Out, LB Colin McCarthy Questionable Vs Colts

Titans left tackle Michael Roos has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 8 matchup against the Indianapolis Colts after having his appendix removed earlier this week. Roos had started all 119 games since the Titans drafted him in the second round -- 41st overall -- of the 2005 draft, but the 30-year-old veteran was unable to practice all week as he recovered from surgery. Quarterback...

Matchup Spotlight: Dwight Freeney vs. Mike Otto

The Colts take a trip down to Nashville this week, looking to earn their first road win of the season. The Titans are favored by 3 1/2 points, according to SportsBetting.ag, and generally the home team gets spotted three points in any contest. So, despite having a superior record (by half a game) and more than twice as good of a point differential, Vegas still says the Colts are...

Colts Win on the Road in OT, 19-13 Over Titans, and Move to 4-3

He's #Chuckstrong. Are you? (Colts Instagram Account) 4-3, second place in the AFC South.  I'll be honest, I wasn't so sure this could happen.  3-3 with a minute left in the half sounds like a defensive struggle with big, game changing plays from both defenses.  What actually transpired was two teams moving the ball well through the air, with both quarterbacks averaging...
