The Titans bolstered their running back depth on Wednesday signing former Chargers tailback Jackie Battle.
Battle (6-2 240) will compete for a depth chart spot behind Chris Johnson and Shonn Greene. Veterans Jalen Parmele and Darius Reynaud are the Titans’ other backs.
The 29-year-old Battle rushed for 311 yards and three TDs on 72 carries for San Diego in 2012. He also caught a career-best 15 passes for 108 yards and a score. Before joining the Chargers a season ago Battle spent five seasons with Kansas City.
The Titans also announced the singing of tight end DeMarco Cosby who was on the Chiefs’ practice squad for a portion of last season. His addition gives the Titans seven tight ends on the roster.

For the first time in years San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers must learn a new offensive system with new terminology new calls and new reads and people say that may be good.

Titans running back Chris Johnson has no problem proclaiming himself the fastest man in the NFL.
Johnson and Bears wide receiver Devin Hester both had the opportunity to see how fast they really were, when they both took time out of their schedules to race an animal.
The Wrap is reporting that the two NFL stars took part in a race against a cheetah on a show appropriately named Man...
MAN VS. BEAST
For reasons of which I am unaware, Titans RB Chris Johnson and Bears return specialist Devin Hester raced a cheetah. The race was filmed for "Nat Geo Wild" which is attempting to one-up Shark Week on the Discovery Channel. Cheetahs can apparently go from 0 to 60 in three seconds, so we know who is probably going to win this race. While Johnson and Hester can outrun defensive...
