NFL Trade Rumors:
Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans have informed WR Lavelle Hawkins on Wednesday that he is being released.
Hawkins, 26, was set to make $1.9 million this season, but with the addition of Kevin Walter during free agency and the fact that they traded up for Justin Hunter, it seemed inevitable that a receiver would be released at some point. Hawkins finished the 2012 season with five catches for 62 yards receiving in seven total games.

2.2 Tennessee Titans Justin Hunter, WR, Tennessee (6-4, 196)
With the second pick in round two, the Titans selected, local boy, Justin Hunter. Hunter came into the draft with one of the best combinations of size and skill. He has the size to win jump balls and the speed to get past corners playing up on him.
With the Titans never knowing what they will get out of super talent Kenny...
First Round: Chance Warmack, G, Alabama
This is a great pick for the Titans. Pairing Warmack with Levitre will give Tennessee the best guard combination in all of the NFL. CJ2K won't have any excuses anymore. The best part about this pick is that they got him after Cooper was taken, as Warmack is much better. Even if Tennessee wanted Cooper more, in a few years they...

Now that we're after the draft, it's time to say some more things about the players the Titans drafted. I covered Chance Warmack on Friday, so next up is the Titans' second-round pick, wide receiver Justin Hunter.

Free agent defensive lineman John Abraham will visit with the Tennessee Titans this week, according to Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. The former Atlanta Falcons pass rusher will meet with the Titans today and tomorrow.

Jim Wyatt reports that the Titans have scheduled a visit with free agent DE John Abraham for this Friday.
