The Titans have had a less than optimal start to their season as they are currently one of just six 0-2 teams left in the NFL. They haven’t been competitive in either of their first 2 games and possess the league’s worst point differential at -49. However, they’ve had a very tough schedule early in the season and things are looking up, especially in the passing game. 1st time starting quarterback Jake Locker hasn’t been great in his first 2 games, completing 61.3% of his passes for an average of 6.5 YPA and 2 touchdowns to 2 interceptions, but he’s been working with a receiving corps that’s seen far too much of rookie Kendall Wright and mediocre talent Damian Williams, who lead the unit in snaps played. This week, Locker will have Kenny Britt and Nate Washington, arguably his top 2 receivers, back at full strength. Britt missed the opener with suspension and then was on a snap count last week, playing just 19 snaps. Washington left the opener with an injury and then was on a snap co...

McCarthy to miss 2nd straight start due to ankle

Titans middle linebacker Colin McCarthy will be out against the Detroit Lions on Sunday, his second consecutive start missed since hurting his right ankle. McCarthy hurt his ankle in the opener against the New England Patriots and has not practiced or played since. Coach Mike Munchak says Friday he hopes the defensive captain can return next week. Offensive tackle Mike Otto is...

Chris Johnson: Is it CJ2slow now for the Titans?

Once known as CJ2k, Chris Johnson is quickly falling to the depths in the rankings as running back. All we hear in return, for being fans and buying tickets, is that he will be fine and everyone needs to step up. Is this really the excuse that we must endure? All you hear, from the Titans organization as a whole, is that “the problem is a little bit of everyone and that they will...

Tennessee Titans Execute “Music City Miracle” That Is Actually A Legal Play

The Tennessee Titans like to bring this Special Teams play out about every 12 years.  Tommy Campbell scored a 65-yard punt return after being on the receiving end of a cross field lateral from Darius Reynaud. Some people on the internet are already referring to this play as the “Music City Miracle 2″ although it doesn’t have the drama of the last second 2000 Playoff win...

Nate Washington makes ridiculous catch (Video)

The Tennessee Titans wide receiver made an unbelievable catch, reaching over the back of Detroit Lions cornerback Jacob Lacey. This 71-yard touchdown has to be one of the best catches this year.

This game DESERVES a long recap, so I'll keep this one short, but the Titans beat the Lions, 44-41, in overtime at LP Field today to get their first win of the season.
