James Lang-US PRESSWIRE
While many Tennessee Titans players patiently wait to see if their contracts will be extended, guys like Defensive tackle Lamar Divens get one year deals.
He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent for the San Diego Charger in 2008 he was waived after training camp and Baltimore picked him up.
Today the Titans signed Divens (6-3, 343) to a one year deal; he was released from Baltimore last year right after training camp. His final month of the season he spent on the practice squad in Tampa Bay. In 2008 he only played in three games, in 2009 he spent the season on IR with a hip injury. 2010 was spent playing two games for the Ravens. What is this guy going to do for the Titans? How will this benefit Tennessee?
Heck, you’ve got me, if you figure it out let me know.
So far this off season the Titans have signed, Defensive tackle Lamar Divens, Wide Receiver Lavelle Hawkins with a three year, and Tackle Mike Otto was re-signed with a two year contr...

Randy Moss staging a comeback attempt, who will show interest?
Which Randy Moss could we see in 2012?
Leave it to Randy Moss to make this an even more interesting offseason aside from all the Peyton Manning drama. After a brief hiatus and a year off in 2011, Moss is going to attempt a comeback for the 2012 season. While speaking during his 35th birthday chat, here is what Moss had to say:
Moss return may be far-fetched
Randy Moss says he's coming out of retirement.
"Your boy be back for the upcoming season," Moss proclaimed earlier this week on an internet video stream.
If it were only that simple.
Yes, he's one of the most prolific wide receivers in NFL history. Yes, his agent told profootballtalk.com on Tuesday that three teams have already inquired.
But none of this means...
IFL IS A-OK?
Moss receives contract offer
Randy Moss' recent announcement of his intentions to return to professional football have been noticed. Unfortunately, it was not by an NFL team, but by the Chicago Slaughters of the Indoor Football League, who offered him a contract.
Will anybody give Moss another chance?

Parsing Ruston Webster: Insight from the Titans' new GM
A couple years ago, I wrote a piece parsing some of what Mike Reinfeldt said about his football philosophy and ideas when he was a relatively young general manager. Now, it's been Ruston Webster's turn to make the rounds, speaking first at a lunch at Lipscomb University and then on a conference call to season ticket holders (audio link, no transcript). I don't think Webster...
Randy Moss and Chris Carter Feuding
CC makes me sick T..
Talking to ESPN’s “Mike & Mike in the Morning” radio show Tuesday, Carter offered some pointed criticism of Moss. “The one thing you have to address with Randy Moss is not a conditioning thing. It’s not an age thing,” Carter said. “It needs to be addressed. I believe it’s the elephant in the room. It’s that thing called quit...
You may enjoy Randy Moss’ Ustream exploits but NFL executives may not
In just the past week, Randy Moss has taken to his Ustream channel to announce he’s returning to football, interact with his fans, and to show the world hair that he says “smells like sauerkraut”. This is all rather entertaining for us, but it reportedly isn’t very entertaining for one particular NFL executive. In fact, this particular executive believes that the Moss’...
Titans officials say Moss didn't hurt team in 2010 stint
Two Titans officials told Albert Breer that Randy Moss was a model teammate during his short stint with Tennessee in 2010 and that the former All-Pro wide receiver could fit well on a veteran team.
Carter talks with Irvin about Canton, Moss' comeback
Cris Carter knows he has the numbers worthy of a Hall of Famer. He also knows there's nothing else he can do but wait. The Vikings great also spoke with Michael Irvin about Randy Moss' comeback attempt.
Fisher noncommittal on Moss
The last team Randy Moss played for in the NFL was Tennessee,
coached by new Rams coach Jeff Fisher, in 2010.
Rams' Fisher says it's 'too early' to say if Moss is fit in St. Louis
As the last head coach to put Randy Moss through the paces, Jeff Fisher would appear to be a reliable source to address the football resurrection of the future Hall of Famer.
Rams Coach Jeff Fisher Doesn't Rule Out Reunion With WR Randy Moss
Randy Moss had a forgettable stint with the Tennessee Titans, his most recent NFL team, during the 2010 season. The coach he played for in Nashville, however, isn't ruling out a reunion with the wide receiver in St. Louis. New Rams coach Jeff Fisher told SN correspondent Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that despite Moss' paltry production as a Titan (just six catches...

Preston: Randy Moss wouldn't be bad for a year or two
There is speculation the Ravens have interest in receiver Randy Moss, and I have no problems with the team trying to pursue him as long as they don't mortgage away the future. I can't see the Ravens doing that because that's not general manager Ozzie Newsome's style. Even though Moss has been away from the game for a short time, he's still probably one of the...
