Rookie wide receiver T.J. Moe is sticking with the Patriots after all. Moe tore his Achilles during Patriots organized team activities late last week, and the Patriots waived him on Friday afternoon. He passed through waivers unclaimed on Monday and will now be revert to the Patriots’ injured reserve. Moe signed with the Patriots as an undrafted rookie free agent back in April. The Patriots outbid a number of other suitors, giving Moe a $30,000 signing bonus in order to secure his services. The Patriots expected Moe to be something of a project, but many believed he could be something of a Wes Welker clone in the Patriots’ offense. Moe will now fall onto season-ending IR, opening up a spot on the Patriots’ 90-man roster. He will remain under the Patriots control and should be back to compete for a spot with the team in 2014.
