The Houston Texans, since the team's inception, has never won in Indianapolis. They look to change that in a must-win if they want to retain the coveted top seed in the AFC. And it may all hinge on whether returning head coach Chuck Pagano decides to rest his starters with really nothing to play for as far as standings and seedings go. They're locked at the 5th spot. But someone they do have to play for is Pagano, who they've rallied against all season and turned a re-building year with a rookie quarterback into something magical. They may also want to look at a bit of history. The decision to rest starters after the 3rd qtr. by former President Bill Polian and ex-coach Jim Caldwell benched several players against the New York Jets on 2009, only to lose the game when the Jets came back. The move reportedly didn't sit well with some players, and that bad vibe may have contributed to them losing the Super Bowl against the Saints. Don't mess with starters heads would be the lesson, some have fragile psyches. As far as the Texans go, they even had trouble with the Colts last year and went home with a loss, giving the Colts their very first win of the season. Not something to be too proud for for Houston. Now they find themselves in a precarious spot with the pressure all on them to secure a win and the top seed. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
