The Falcons' 2013 campaign is circling the toilet and trade rumors have predictably popped up regarding tight end Tony Gonzalez.
The future Hall of Famer, though, will have none of it.
Speaking with the media Thursday, Gonzalez shot down any aforementioned speculation, claiming he's happy in Atlanta and would never think of "jumping ship."
“I don’t know about you, but my mentality, the way I work sometimes, I’m always curious (about the future) and sometimes I think too much. I try to work towards shutting my brain off sometimes, so yeah, of course you have to look at (regrets on returning) like, ‘What if this, what if that.’ But at the same time, you look at it and say this is what I signed up for.
