getty images The Dallas Cowboys signed quarterback Tony Romo to a $108 million contract this past off-season. It took all of two quarters for Romo to leave a game with an injury. Romo was hit in the ribs by two Giant defenders and went down. He was helped off the field and later seen grimacing on the sidelines before halftime. Kyle Orton came in for Romo and would play if needed. Romo practiced before the second half and the Cowboys are saying he simply had the wind knocked out of him. He started the third quarter for the Cowboys. Romo has dealt with rib injuries before. In 2011 he suffered a broken rib in Week 2 and played the rest of the season. Romo has played all 16 games in three of the last four seasons. He missed 10 games in 2010 after suffering a broken left clavicle against the Giants.
