Redskins Insider:
The trial involving the men charged in the shooting death of former Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor has been postponed again until March 12. Circuit Court Judge Dennis J. Murphy also said during a brief hearing Tuesday in Miami that he did not intend to move the trial to another venue. "I'm not going to cross that bridge unless it appears from some aborted jury selection attempts that it's necessary," Murphy said. Taylor died a few days after Thanksgiving in 2007 after suffering a gunshot wound to his leg while confronting intruders in his Miami home. Fort Myers, Fla., residents Eric Rivera, 20; Jason Scott Mitchell, 22; Charles K. Wardlow, 21; and Timmy Lee Brown, 19; face first-degree murder and armed burglary charges in connection with Taylor's death. Another defendant, Venjah Hunte, 23, pleaded guilty and is expected to testify against the others. None of the defendants appeared in court Tuesday.
