Justin Tucker tied the game on the final play of regulation, then kicked the game-winning field goal with 1:07 to play in overtime as Baltimore took a 16-13 win over San Diego.
The rookie kicker hit three field goals and Joe Flacco threw for 355 yards and a score on 30-of-51 passing for the Ravens (9-2), who have won four straight and now hold a three-game lead over both Cincinnati and Pittsburgh for first place in the AFC North.
Ray Rice carried the ball 22 times for 97 yards and caught eight passes for 67 yards, including a 29-yard catch that converted a 4th-and-29 in regulation which led to the game-tying field goal.
Philip Rivers went 23-for-36 with 228 yards and a touchdown for the Chargers (4-7), who have dropped their past three games. Malcom Floyd caught four passes for 65 yards and a score, while Ryan Mathews had 19 carries for 72 yards in the loss. Source: Sports Network Posted via Mobile Device Attached Thumbnails

Ray Lewis could return before playoffs
Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is a warrior and we all know that.
So its not surprising that what would have been a season-ending injury for most players might just be a setback for Lewis.

Rice's big run, Tucker FGs give Ravens 16-13 win
It was such an unbelievable play that Ray Rice reached deep and used a nursery rhyme to describe it.
''Check down, Hey Diddle Diddle, Ray Rice up the middle,'' the Baltimore running back said with a smile after the Ravens converted a fourth-and-29 play to help force overtime before stunning the San Diego Chargers 16-13 on Sunday.
It was almost an afterthought that...
Chargers fall to Ravens on OT field goal
SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Justin Tucker kicked a 38-yard field with 1:07 left in overtime to complete a stunning comeback for the Baltimore Ravens, who beat the staggering San Diego Chargers 16-13 on Sunday.
San Diego led 13-3 on Nick Novak's 30-yard field goal with 7:51 to go in regulation and seemed headed for its first win against a team with a winning record this season.
But the...

Ray Rice Converts 4th and 29 to Set Up Game Tying Field Goal (Video)
Ray Rice has been my favorite running back in the NFL for a long time now. This is one of the reasons. The man is a strait up beast and has determination on every run. Never seems like the guy takes a play off. The Ravens were in a dog fight yesterday with the San Diego Chargers. Rice grabbed this screen pass in the video below and took it 29 yards for a 1st down. Oh...
NFL Rumors: Could Baltimore Ravens Be Getting A Huge Boost On Defense By Week 15?
The Baltimore Ravens appear to be turning things around this season, especially on defense. What many people thought was an aging unit incapable of creating big plays is right back to their old tricks. The Ravens possess a three game lead in the AFC North and are currently locked in as the No. 2 seed in the AFC Playoffs. With a win over the Pittsburgh Steelers this Sunday, Baltimore...
Report: Ray Lewis Expected to Return in December From What Was Supposed to Be Season-Ending Injury
The torn triceps that knocked Ray Lewis out earlier this year may have been termed “season-ending” by medical experts. But the Ravens linebacker isn’t letting himself be bound by any professional prognostications.
Lewis is expected to return before the end of this season, Yahoo! Sports reports, according to several sources within the Baltimore organization. Lewis tore his triceps...
Ravens could get Lewis back in practice
The Baltimore Ravens were hoping former NFL Defensive Player of the Year Ray Lewis could return to practice this week after undergoing surgery last month to repair a torn right triceps tendon. The middle linebacker has been diligently rehabilitating, using a hyperbaric chamber and platelet-rich therapy to accelerate the healing process. On the injured reserve/designated to return...
Flacco to Pitta gets Ravens within field goal
The Ravens made a questionable decision to go for it on a fourth down and 1. They didn’t get it. San Diego then kicked a field goal to put them up 13-3.
Baltimore went to work on the ensuing drive.
Joe Flacco drove Baltimore down and found tight end Dennis Pitta in the back of the end zone to cut San Diego’s lead.
With a little more than four minutes to play, the Ravens trail San Diego 13-10.
Ray Lewis Could Be Back by Week 15
The Baltimore Ravens may be the most suspect 9-2 football team in the history of the NFL. Most teams will take that claim, but reports are circulating that the heart and soul of Baltimore’s shabby defense could be returning sooner than expected.
Yahoo! Sports’ Michael Silver is reporting that linebacker Ray Lewis could return from his torn triceps injury as early as Week 15...
The 2012 NFL Play of the Year Brought to You By Ravens RB Ray Rice
The Chargers had the Ravens beat. Until they didn’t. San Diego led 13-10 and had Baltimore down to what may have been its last play. Not only was it fourth down with 1:59 left in the game, but the Ravens also needed 29 yards to get a first down. Impossible, right? Not if Ray Rice is on the field. From his own 37-yard line, Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco took the shotgun snap and...
Ravens Activate WR David Reed From PUP List
The Ravens announced Monday that they had activated wide receiver David Reed from the physically unable to perform list and placed safety Anthony Levine on season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
Reed, 25, a 2010 fifth-round draft pick, hasn't played since he suffered a season-ending knee injury in Week 16 of the 2011 season. He was not ready for the start of...
Ray Lewis could return to the Baltimore Ravens this season
Sources told Yahoo! Sports that Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray
Lewis, believed to be lost for the season after suffering a torn
triceps in mid-October, is expected to return before the end of the
2012 campaign.
Who’s to blame for Ravens win?
It sounds like an oxymoron to suggest there should be someone to blame for not a loss, but a win. In this case, the Baltimore Ravens overcame the San Diego Chargers, beating them 16-13. However, the score did not accurately reflect the overall performance by the Ravens throughout the entire game. In all honesty, the [...]
Ravens LB Ray Lewis Could Return By Week 15 Against Broncos
It's been a pretty good year for Ravens players recovering from serious injuries. First Terrell Suggs gets back on the field far sooner than expected, and now it appears linebacker Ray Lewis could return before the end of this season as well.
Lewis, who tore his triceps in October, was expected to miss the remainder of the season despite being placed on the designated-to-return...
