Two unidentified fans escaped serious injuries when the barrier they were leaning on gave way after the end of the Colts-Raiders game at Lucas Field in Indianapolis. The barrier was just above the tunnel to the Raiders' locker room, reported the Associated Press. Both fans sustained injuries as they fell hard on the walkway, with one leaving on a stretcher and the other in a wheelchair.  Executive director of the Indiana Convention Center and Lucas Oil Stadium Barney Levengood issued a statement hours after the game saying one of the injured was released after receiving medical attention at the stadium. The other was treated at the stadium and transported to Methodist Hospital for additional evaluation. Officials at the stadium will gold an investigation on how the barrier failed.

Bradshaw Still Behind Ballard on Colts' Depth Chart

Ahmad Bradshaw is listed behind Vick Ballard on the Colts' running back depth chart Week 1 against Oakland. SOURCE: Philip Wilson, Indianapolis StarFantasy Spin:Bradshaw wasn't able to create separation between himself and Ballard in the preseason and now he's actually listed behind him heading into Sunday's season opener. Of course, all he needs is a touchdown to...

Paul George Surprises Colts Fans As Inflatable Mascot

Paul George surprised fans at the Colts game by dressing up as Air Blue, the Colts inflatable version of mascot Blue.  The Colts also dropped a nice little remix of Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines.”  We’ve talked about LeBron, but I’d like to see George line up as a wide receiver.  Andrew Luck might like that too. Offensive line shows promise, problems in Week 1

Indianapolis' top offseason priority was rebuilding the offensive line. The opening-day reviews were mixed. Yes, the Colts ran the ball more effectively in Sunday's 21-17 victory over Oakland. They rushed for 127 yards and averaged 4.9 yards per carry. But Andrew Luck was sacked four times and knocked to the ground on a handful of other occasions - the very thing Indy...

Angerer out for Colts, Raiders' QB still a mystery

Colts linebacker Kelvin Sheppard will replace Pat Angerer as the starting middle linebacker Sunday against Oakland. Angerer was diagnosed with a concussion late this week. The biggest question coming into the season opener was who the Raiders would play at quarterback? Coach Dennis Allen did not announce a starter before the game, though most expect it to be Terrelle Pryor. The...

Luck's late-game magic dooms Oakland 21-17

Andrew Luck has mastered the art of the comeback. He'd like to start making things easier on himself and the rest of the Indianapolis Colts. Luck threw for two scores Sunday and scrambled 19 yards for the go-ahead touchdown with 5:20 left, giving the Colts a 21-17 victory over Oakland in the season opener. Yes, Indy has seen this act before. A year ago, Luck set an NFL rookie...

Colts use Luck's feet to get past Oakland 21-17

Andrew Luck ran 19 yards for the winning touchdown Sunday, giving Indianapolis a 21-17 season-opening victory over Oakland. Luck was 18 of 23 for 178 yards with two touchdown passes, but earned his eighth career fourth-quarter comeback by scrambling for a score with 5:20 to go in the game. It was Indianapolis' first opening-day win since 2009. Oakland started Terrelle Pryor...

Dwayne Allen Exits with Foot Injury

Colts TE Dwayne Allen left Sunday's game against the Raiders with a foot injury and is questionable to return.Fantasy Spin:Allen probably aggravated the foot injury that caused him to miss the entire preseason. The tight end did catch a touchdown pass in the first quarter.

Week 1 Fantasy Football Preview: Oakland Raiders @ Indianapolis Colts

Colts Fantasy Players to think about:Reggie Wayne:  He is as steady as it gets and for me is always a welcome part of a fantasy team.  The only problem I see in this game is that the Colts may win going away and the passing game may not be needed.  Peyton Manning loved to play every play and score as many points as possible but with Luck, they don't mind calling the dogs...

Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts: Three Bold Predictions

This is a game that could get real ugly real fast, or it could be one of those surprises for the start of the NFL season.I am not sure yet where I stand on it, but it’s football and it’s Sunday and, well, two former greats of the 1970s beating on each other cannot be that bad. But, oh yes it can be.Enter the world of Andrew Luck. The second-year player who did everything asked...

Quick Recap: Indianapolis Colts vs. Oakland Raiders

I was afraid this would happen. The Indianapolis Colts have historically had trouble with mobile quarterbacks, and today was no exception. Terrelle Pryor ran for 112 yards to go along with his 217 yards through the air. Now, when the Oakland Raiders were executing a traditional run play the Colts did a great job all day of stuffing it, the trouble came when Pryor was running around...

Colts Defeat Raiders in Dramatic Fashion 21-17

The Colts were heavily favored against Oakland but ended up having to squeak past a young Raiders team. Led by quarterback Terrelle Pryor the Raiders were able to fight until the very end against the much more talented Indianapolis Colts. The game came down to the very last drive when Pryor was picked off by safety Antoine Bethea to seal the win for Indianapolis. The Colts were...

getty The Oakland Raiders will head to Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday September 8 for a Week 1 match-up against the Indianapolis Colts.
