Found September 25, 2012 on NFL Draft Zone:
In 2011, Hilton got off to a hot start, putting up a school record 283 all-purpose yards in FIU’s rout of North Texas. A week later, Hilton was instrumental in FIU’s 24-17 upset of Louisville, with 74 and 83 yard catches for touchdowns. He finished that game with 7 receptions for 201 yards, breaking his school and personal single game receiving records. Because of the huge year, Hilton deserved a mid round grade from the NFL draft scouts.  He was in fact taken in the mid rounds as well, when the Colts made their selection. Hilton was selected with the 92nd pick of the third round and last week was his first real time stepping on the field with fellow rookies Coby Fleener, Dwayne Allen, and Andrew Luck.  Hilton looked like he had a very good connection with Luck as he caught 4 receptions for 100 plus yards and a beautiful 40 yard touchdown reception.  Hilton was one of the best wide outs in the D-1 last year for Florida International University. After getting another week of practice...

Following a Legend: Andrew Luck Week 3 vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Andrew Luck came very close to his first NFL winning streak on Sunday, but the Colts were outdone in the final minute by a stunning 80-yard touchdown. It was only the 20th time since 1981 that a team took over in the final minute of the game and scored a game-winning touchdown. Last week we saw Luck make his first game-winning drive, and this time he was trying for his first comeback...

Unforced Errors: Penalties Are a Killer

Jim Caldwell was not my favorite NFL coach.  That's putting it mildly.  Let's just say I pretty much despised the way he coached on the sidelines each week.  Nevertheless, Jim Caldwell's teams had one thing that Chuck Pagano could take a page from: penalties.   The Colts have already had issues this season with penalties, and this week's loss to Minnesota...

Indianapolis Colts: Austin Collie out for season

Indianapolis Colts receiver Austin Collie was injured in the third quarter of the Colt’s 22-17 loss to Jacksonville Sunday and did not return. Initially, it seemed as though he had sustained yet another concussion because the injury came as he was making a catch for a six-yard gain, and he took a shot to the head. . After the hit, he stayed down with little movement, eerily similar...

Jim Irsay's Tweets About Referees Mess Insult Fans, Show Owners Are Still Out of Touch

Give me a break, Jim Irsay. For the love of the football gods, just give me a freaking break. The Indianapolis Colts owner, who is one of the league's most outspoken head men, took to Twitter on Wednesday afternoon as news started to percolate the NFL owners were nearing the end of the lockout with the game officials. No deal is done yet, but apparently, after replacement officials...

Colts add defensive back to roster

The Indianapolis Colts signed cornerback Dariuis Butler on Tuesday to bolster their depleted secondary. To clear roster space for Butler, the Colts released offensive lineman Trai Essex, who saw action in the team’s past two games. Defensive backs Vontae Davis (ankle) and Justin King (groin) are slowed by injuries, but with a bye this week, the Colts hope to have the two back...

Indianapolis Colts: Week 4 NFL Power Rankings (#20)

Record: 1-2 Last week: 20 (-1) Andrew Luck doesn’t have any help. He played well, but losing at home to Jacksonville is embarrassing. The good news is that they outplayed the Jaguars, despite the loss, and they should be getting healthier defensively soon, after the bye. They also have a very easy schedule and Andrew Luck is also the real deal, which is the most important thing...

Colts try to move on from wild finish against Jags

Colts coach Chuck Pagano is working on his speech for Tuesday's practice. After being left nearly speechless following Sunday's bizarre loss, he returned to the team complex Monday with a new message for players: Learn from your mistakes and leave the Jacksonville game in the past. ''You point out like we are doing, `Here's what we did well, but this is what...

Austin Collie Out For The Season

All-22 Analysis - Evaluating the Colts Defense, Week 3.

Peaks and valleys seems to be the theme this year with the Colts, with an impressive first half showing on Sunday completely rendered obsolete in an awful loss at home to the Jacksonville Jaguars. The loss came as a result of some incredibly poor football, whether on offense or defense. The only unit I can assuage of any guilt would be the special teams coverage and return units...
