Found November 02, 2013 on Sports Injury Alert:
It appears the Tampa Bay Bucs had a timetable for the the return of running back Doug Martin, after all. After a week of adamantly denying the second year back would be done for the season, NFL insider Ian Rapoport reports the Buccaneers want Martin to return in Week 10. UPDATE: While the Bucs wait to see if Martin’s shoulder will heal enough to allow for him to return next week, JoeBucsFan.com reports that Bucs head coach Greg Schiano has said that Martin will eventually need to have the shoulder repaired. NFL Media’s Alex Flanagan reported that the Bucs are still waiting on an evaluation from Dr. James Andrews that will decide if Martin can cause further damage his shoulder by playing with this type of injury. If not, the Bucs would like for him to play through the injury and have reportedly cited John Lynch as a player who has successfully played through a similar shoulder injury. This is a baffling story, coming from a winless team halfway through the season. The Bucs will ...

Gerald McCoy says Bucs coaches scolded him for helping opponent up

Mike Shanahan Lays the Smackdown on Fat Albert

NFL coaches aren’t known for being truthful but yesterday Mike Shanahan couldn’t have been more honest in his assessment of Albert Haynesworth. Haynesworth famously signed a 7-year, 100 million dollar deal with the Redskins in 2009. Haynesworth ended up only…Read more →

Free safety Dashon Goldson is sitting out his second straight game for Tampa Bay with a knee injury. Bucs Coaches Yell At DT Gerald McCoy For Good Sportsmanship

Next time on as the Buc turns… The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been more like a soap opera this year than an NFL team, lead by their tyrant-like coach Greg Shiano. Mike James throws TD on jump pass to Tom Crabtree (GIF)

Bucs’ Darrelle Revis says knee kept him out of man coverage

With everyone throwing Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Greg Schiano under the bus for the team’s shortcomings this season, it was only natural to assume the coach was using star cornerback Darrelle Revis incorrectly out of sheer incompetence. Safety Dashon Goldson did not travel with the team to Seattle, according to Buccaneers.com editor Scott Smith. As I write this, the 0-7 Buccaneers lead the Seahawks in Seattle by the score of 24-7 in the third quarter, because... well, hell, I have no idea. Because the NFL is bonkers? The Buccaneers Blew A 21-Point Lead

A thorough dismantling of Greg Schiano’s Buccaneers would have been satisfying to watch, but it’s not like we haven’t seen that before. No, a novel downfall for this year’s Bucs team is to play well enough to build a prohibitive early lead, only to watch it dissolve into a devastating loss over the course of the second half and overtime. That’s right. This could have been...
