Vick Still in Charge As Eagles Face Showdown with Cowboys By SBRForum.com Michael Vick and the Philadelphia Eagles remain in tandem as they try and scratch their way back into the NFC East race against the division-rival Dallas Cowboys in Week 10 of the NFL season. In recent weeks, Vick’s status with the Eagles has dominated the NFL headlines given his penchant for turnovers during the team’s disappointing start to the season. However, Vick has managed to hold on to his role as starting quarterback despite leading the team to just a 3-5 record and committing an NFL-high 14 turnovers.  In the lead-up to the Eagles’ Week Nine Monday night game against the New Orleans Saints, speculation was rampant Vick could be replaced as Philadelphia’s signal-caller. Head coach Andy Reid ultimately elected to stay with Vick as the starter, but not before what was reported as a “heart-to-heart” discussion between both parties.
