Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick isn't conceding that his days as a starter are over, but after after two straight big wins by teammate Nick Foles, things are certainly looking that way. Foles has thrown 10 touchdowns with an interception in those back-to-back victories, and obviously, even for rookie head coach Chip Kelly, you stay with the hot hand. Which leaves Vick still on the bench. He was asked if he can envision himself a starter in Philly again.

Eagles expected to sign Brad Smith the versatile weapon

The Philadelphia Eagles plan to sign wide receiver Brad Smith on Tuesday, pending a physical, according to a team source. Smith, who was an impact player in certain situations for the Jets, became a free-agent a few days ago following a short stint with the Bills. Buffalo signed him as a free agent under a former coaching regime, […]

Eagles Depth Being Put To Test

With offensive tackle Jason Peters and linebacker Mychal Kendricks nicked up, the Eagles depth is shining through and being tested all at once.  Three days after both Jason Peters and Mychal Kendricks went down with injuries against the Green Bay Packers, the pair of Eagles starters status for Sunday's NFC East showdown with the Washington Redskins remains up in the air.  Both...

Nick Foles was also highly recruited as basketball player

As any Eagles fan will tell you, Nick Foles is already well on his way to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He’s…

WR DeSean Jackson says fans need to support Eagles: 'We already have to beat our opponent, now we’re trying to fight our fans'

Philadelphia Eagles WR DeSean Jackson says he understands that fans have emotions, but when the home team gets booed three minutes into a game, it's time for a reality check. Jackson isn't saying that fans can't air their gripes, however, they shouldn't be a part of the other team's advantage either.

DeSean Jackson wants more support from Eagles fans at home

The Philadelphia Eagles have lost 10 straight games at home dating back to last season, and they’ve gotten an earful from the crowd at Lincoln Financial Field. With the team’s upcoming home game against the Redskins looming, wide receiver DeSean Jackson acknowledged in his weekly press conference that the Eagles need to get things going. One thing Jackson thinks could help the...

DeSean Jackson calls out Philadelphia Eagles fans for booing

The Philadelphia Eagles have yet to win a game at home this season. Despite their 0-4 record at Lincoln Financial Field, Philly is somehow tied for first place in an NFC East division that has been a major disappointment thus far. With a big home game upcoming against the Washington Redskins, DeSean Jackson is hoping […]

Improved Eagles back in first-place tie

Nick Foles has the offense back on track. Billy Davis has the defense improving every week. Chip Kelly has the whole team in playoff contention. Thanks to a mediocre NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) have a chance to go worst-to-first in what was supposed to be a rebuilding year. A convincing 27-13 win at Green Bay over the Packers minus Aaron Rodgers on Sunday, coupled with...

Eagles' best drive yielded no points

For all their quick strikes and fast scores, the most impressive drive by the Philadelphia Eagles this year was one that resulted in no points. Holding a 27-13 lead over the Green Bay Packers last Sunday, the Eagles got the ball at their own 8 with 9:32 left in the game. They never gave it back, running out the clock with an old-school, grind-it-out approach unusual for Chip Kelly...

Ryans is performing like a Pro Bowl player again

Looking for leadership and production at linebacker, the Eagles acquired DeMeco Ryans from the Houston Texans in March 2012. There was a dose of skepticism about the deal, even though Ryans had been to two Pro Bowls before he suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon in 2010. Contending teams don't often part with all-pros unless there's a reason. The Eagles learned that lesson...

London Fletcher Ranks Eagles Atop 'Terrible' NFC East

Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher believes the Eagles are top team in a 'terrible' NFC East division ahead of the teams' meeting Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field.  The NFC East is so mediocre that even the players are starting to openly take notice.  Even the Washington Redskins who enter Sunday's matchup with the Philadelphia Eagles at Lincoln Financial...

So, hopefully, we can collect something together, figure out what it is and just win in front of our home fans. But there's got to be support.
