ATLANTA - DECEMBER 06: Michael Vick #7 of the Philadelphia Eagles rushes upfield against the Atlanta Falcons at Georgia Dome on December 6, 2009 in Atlanta, Georgia. (Photo by Kevin C. Cox/Getty Images)
It’s a move that makes as much sense as any, Michael Vick needs a home and Andy Reid needs a quarterback. The big question is will the Philadelphia Eagles pick up the option on Vick’s contract or let him walk? It’s a possibility that Reid could get Vick as a free agent, not costing the Chiefs any draft picks. Reid was asked on ESPN’s Mike and Mike if he has any interest in Michael Vick: "He's still property of the Philadelphia Eagles. But he's a good kid." Reid would break tampering rules which would cost the Chiefs dearly, so a proper response was warranted, however, bringing in a player like Vick who has something to prove, would bring some much needed excitement in Kansas City. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

  • If he comes to KC Hunt is stupider than I thought. He's only good because if he isn't the money is gone.
  • Not sure what grandpa58 was trying to say, but as for me, never have been too committed to the Chiefs, & if Reid brings "dogfight" Vick to K. C., then they will lose my interest completely
  • Wow, I have been a fan of KC my whole life, but that would be my nightmare come to life if Vick came to KC.
  • Sign him up for Leavenworth instead. He was just slapped on the hand for the cruelty charge. Now he wants a dog. I think I'll fly to St. louis for my home games if he gets signed here
  • Was trying to say Hunt has the last word and he should not allow Vick in KC. Reid said "... he's a good kid." I say he's only good as long as he is getting paid to "be a good kid". Had he not gotten in deep do-do and lost a lot of money, he'd still be doing the dog fighting thing. I can forgive a lot of things, but cruelty to animals is not one of them.
    My wife and I are Chiefs fans, but that will change if Vick comes to K.C
  • I have no problem with Vick coming to KC. Whatever happened to giving someone a 2nd chance, he paid his dues to society. Compared to some of scum KC has had on their roster in the past, Vick looks like a saint....
  • As I said, "I can forgive a lot of things, but....."
    Does anyone honestly believe if he hadn't been caught that he would have quit on his own, or that his loss of money wasn't the main, if not the only reason he "seems" repentant now?
    He will need to do a lot more good to prove he means it, and by that time he will be 50 years too old to play football.
  • Reid,Pederson,now talk of Vick,lets just call it KC Eagles
  • WOW....TO THINK PEOPLE DONT BELIEVE IN CHANGING THERE WAYS! SURE HE DID SOMETHING I BELIEVE IS HORRIBLE BUT IF ALL OF U NEGATIVE PEOPLE LOOK IN UR OWN YARDS, HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SECOND CHANCE????? IT THINK ITS SAD THAT GRUDGES ARE HELD FOR SO LONG. WHAT IF GOD DIDNT GIV PEOPLE A SECOND CHANCE....ALL THE NEGATIVE WORDS ABOVE LIKE SCUM, NIGHTMARE, STUPID, DOGFIGHT VICK COULD APPLY TO YOU!
