In just one NFL season, Victor Cruz cemented his status on-the-field and evolved into one of the most fashion-forward players off-the-field. The New York Giants WR went from working in a mall near Paterson, New Jersey, to being named to Vanity Fair’s 2012 “International Best-Dressed List.” Cruz has caught the attention of the fashion elite and continues his style-centered endeavors. The Super Bowl champ shows off his “winning stripes” in the latest issue of GQ magazine. As part of the publication’s “NFL Kick-Off” issue, Cruz shot a fashion editorial centered around this season’s pinstripe suits. Cruz took to the streets of New York in designer duds from Etro, Ralph Lauren, J. Lindeberg, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein and Canali. The threads were paired with sporty accessories, including a baseball cap from Cruz’s own clothing line, Young Whales. Check out the photos below and for additional shots, visit here.   With serious injuries plaguing the defensive tackle position and headline-grabbing injuries to both Hakeem Nicks and Terrell Thomas, a lingering hamstring issue for New York Giants linebacker Michael Boley has gone largely overlooked.
