EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ - NOVEMBER 08: Head coach Tom Coughlin of the New York Giants watches from the sideline during NFL action against the San Diego Chargers at Giants Stadium on November 8, 2009 in East Rutherford, New Jersey. (Photo by Nick Laham/Getty Images)

Hazing in the NFL is nothing new. We've all heard about it, but it's a rarity to see it openly displayed. Thanks to Giants punter Steve Weatherford, that's exactly what happened when Jason Pierre-Paul threw 2nd year cornerback Prince Amukamara into a cold tub.

The incident wasn't appreciated by Amukamara, and the NFL won't be looking into the incident, but Tom Coughlin will. Coughlin told NJ.com,

"I’m going to look into it, I’m going to talk to the parties involved. As I’m understanding it, there were some parts of it that were inappropriate. And in no way, anything that occurs within this family or within our group should be a part of social media. I’m going to address that strongly because I spent a little time on that this preseason."

Tom Coughlin runs a notoriously tight ship, and when he indicates he'll get it taken care of, you can bet it won't be an issue moving forward. Still, the incident has been frowned upon by some while laughed at by others. As for me, I'm doing a little bit of both.
