David ‘Deacon’ Jones was my childhood hero.
I did not grow up watching him play as leader of the Los Angeles/St. Louis Rams’ Fearsome Foursome.
Two generations later when I fell in love with football, it did not take long to recognize that Deacon Jones played the game like a force of nature.
These videos are just a sample size portion of what Deacon Jones was and will always be.
Sometimes even heroes need their rest.
