I doubt that Bernard Berrian knew the guy had lost his legs in a war, but going on Twitter when you are 0-4 and you have 2 catches on the season is probably not the best idea if you have Drake like Feelings.

Here is the entire exchange from Berrian on Twitter.

It started when someone going by @DreDaydaBoSS tweeted “Get [Donovan] McNabb *** outta foreal.. Take the bum @B_Twice with you too.”

Two minutes later, @DreDaydaBoSS tweeted, “McNabb benched, [Leslie] Frazier fired, Berrian cut and [Christian] Ponder starting. All of this will happen within the next month.”

“B_Twice” is Berrian’s verified Twitter account, and Berrian has two just two catches this season, a point of frustration for many Vikings fans.

About a half hour after those postings, Berrian responded, “u a b—-. Talkin over the Internet. U wouldn’t say a damn thing if u ever saw me.”

Another Twitter user going by @TheReal_Cuz came to Berrian’s defense, writing, “@B_Twice saw u wide open at least 5 times….starting the #getBTwicetherockCampaign enough is enough.”

Berrian responded, “@TheReal_Cuz been like that the last 4 yrs.”

That response didn’t sit well with @DreDaydaBoSS, who wrote, “Bernard berrian don’t blame that [expletive] on McNabb. Point blank period you ain’t did [expletive] since you came to Vikings your career is over.”

About three hours later, Berrian tweeted, “Gotta swagga make’em hate me!!”

That prompted a response from Minnesota Rep. John Kriesel (@johnkriesel) from District 57A, who wrote on his Twitter account, “If you want to follow a hilarious twitter account, try @B_Twice (Bernard Berrian) who says that he’s open a lot and should get the ball more.”

Within minutes, Berrian fired back via Twitter: “anytime u wanna watch the film with me. Not just one game but all of them … and if not sit down n shut up!!”

Kriesel responded: “Don’t be pissed at me dude. Make a play.”

And to another person on Twitter, Kriesel wrote, “I don’t expect Berrian to care if I’m a stadium supporter or not. He won’t be in the NFL when the stadium opens…”

Shane Drahota (@sdrahota), the assistant athletic director for compliance and student services at Minnesota State University, where the Vikings hold training camp, got involved.

“Way to tell a war veteran – and a person who lost his legs serving our country – to “sit down n shut up!!” #Classy,” Drahota wrote, referring to Kriesel’s military service (he lost his legs serving in Iraq).

Of course, Berrian responded to that, too: “Shouldn’t have opened his mouth. Especially bout something he knows nothing about. How classy is that of him?? … and for future reference both my parents and my older bro served in the military.”

And it wasn’t over there.

At 7:29 p.m., about 4½ hours after the Twitter exchanges started right after the Vikings’ loss, David Brown (@dbrownkelo), who is a weekend anchor/reporter for KELO-TV in Sioux Falls, S.D., wrote, “In the past hour @B_Twice has about fives [sic] times as many tweets as receptions this season for the #Vikings. #WhereAreYouBernard?”

Berrian responded to that tweet within a minute: “@dbrownkelo somewhere u could never be.”

Berrian should concentrate more on helping the team than twitter beefs.  When he found out the John Kriesel was a veteran he should have scaled it back, but he went harder and that it only made it worse.

I didn’t even think Kriesel tweet was that bad to be honest.

Berrian has also been linked to Basketball Wives: LA star Draya Michele, so he is use to drama, but this isn’t constructive at all.

Bernard Berrian has gotten into it with his Twitter followers before, often in amusing fashion, but on Sunday the back-and-forth got a little bit ugly and left Berrian looking like a complete fool. Vikings Wide Receiver Bernard Berrian Tells Double-Amputee Iraqi War Veteran to 'Sit Down n Shut Up' on Twitter

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Bernard Berrian has learned first-hand how unpredictable and deceptive the Internet can be. After the Vikings fell to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Berrian took to Twitter to voice his frustrations, during which it appeared as though he was upset with the number of passes he's been thrown. Berrian only has two catches for 37 yards this season...

Bernard Berrian, seen here in a rare moment holding a football Bernard Berrian has two catches on 16 targets through four games with the Vikings this season, a regrettable stat line that I’d wager is equal parts the result of Donovan McNabb playing quarterback and Berrian playing wide receiver. After Berrian’s claim on Twitter that he’d been open “the last four years,”...

Bernard Berrian, Minnesota Vikings receiver, proves need for Twitter caution in exchange with Iraq War vet amputee

Bernard Berrian tells amputee war veteran to ‘sit down n shut up’ on Twitter

The beauty of social media is that you can communicate with people around the world, forward your personal and professional profiles, and have a lot of fun. The downside of social media is that you never know who you're really talking to, and if things get heated, you can embarrass yourself in front of the entire world. Minnesota Vikings receiver Bernard Berrian experienced the...

Berrian apologizes for Twitter exchange with public official

Going by the numbers, no NFL receiver has been less effective this year than Bernard Berrian. The Vikings wideout has been targeted 16 times, and has only two catches.  To put that in perspective, Devin Hester has the fewest receptions other than Berrian of any receiver with at least 16 targets. Hester has seven catches.…

Key To Vikings Season: Rearrange Deck Chairs

The Minnesota Vikings are without a doubt the best 0-4 team in the league right now.  In fact I’d go so far as to say they are one of the best teams in the league right up until a high school marching band takes the field for halftime.  Then, well, you’ve watched the disasters unfold:  17-7 lead against the Chargers?  Mike Tolbert is unstoppable.  Vikings lose 24-17. 17...
