One of the Minnesota Vikings toughest cuts on Saturday might have been at defensive back and what to do with undrafted second-year player Bobby Felder.Felder, a cornerback and possible punt returner, was among the final cuts on Saturday after a preseason in which he flashed, particularly as a returner. But Felder suffered an ankle injury in Thursday's preseason finale while playing defensive back. Maybe the ankle injury was too tough to return from.On Sunday, the Vikings put Felder on injured reserve. The Vikings also placed third-year defensive end D'Aundre Reed on IR Sunday. It's possible the team could work out injury settlements with either player. Reed, a 2011 draft pick, also suffered an ankle injury Thursday.Coaches seemed interested in the progress of Felder, who spent last season on the practice squad, during the preseason.
