NFL lawsuit who reportedly are pushing for compensation before settling the case, a power move that some speculate could delay the finalization of a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Yahoo! Sports reported Tuesday that the agents of Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson and Patriots offensive lineman Logan Mankins have requested that their players become unrestricted free agents or be paid $10 million each as part of the settlement. Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Colts quarterback Peyton Manning, also plaintiffs, could ask for a removed franchise tag.
