Watching Tarvaris Jackson workout at Fitzgerald's place this week got me thinking: Could the lengthy lockout force the Vikings to at least consider Jackson as a backup option in free agency?
I've been told that simply ain't happening. But in what will undoubtedly be a quarterback-hungry free agency, Jackson might have a nice market for himself. ESPN.com's John Clayton links Jackson -- who threw for 341 yards, three touchdowns and four interceptions in spot duty last season -- to Seattle because of Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell's experience with Jackson from their days in Minnesota.
