NFL Draft Zone:
Colin Anderson was the most underrated tight end prospect in this draft. Out of all the small school tight ends, he is the best pure all around athlete in my opinion. I believed Anderson would have been drafted, but unfortunately he wasn’t. He was however signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent. Colin is a special talent, he has great hands, and is very athletic. He has great size and strength and is a very good down field blocker. Even though he played at Furman, he still played against some studs in his four year career. One player he will never forget is his new teammate Sharrif Floyd who at the time played for the Florida Gators. “The toughest player I played against was Shariff Floyd from Florida during my junior year in college. He had really quick hands and was very athletic which made it more difficult to get inside position.” Colin is not a slouch by any means, this kid has great hands. He is on a team with several great tight ends, but he deserves his fair shake. I think Colin could be a guy that beats out a veteran because of his speed. He reminds me of a bigger Owen Daniels, would you like that on your team Vikes fans? Remember the name Colin Anderson, he could be coming to a 53 man roster near you if the Vikings some how make a decision of letting this stud go.
BEST OF MAXIM
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Rookie linebacker Michael Mauti was on the Minnesota Vikings' practice field Tuesday as he has been many times during the past few weeks, but Tuesday was different.Instead of working on the side with athletic trainers, Mauti had a helmet for the first time in practice since he was drafted by Minnesota in the seventh round. Mauti, recovering from another...
Adrian Peterson is the best back in the league by far, and it is not important if he rushes for 2000 yards according to Leslie Frazier.
“It’s not imperative that (Adrian Peterson) rushed for 2,000 yards, or 2,500 yards, for us to win,” coach Leslie Frazier said this week, via The Associated Press. “Our offense always is going to run through Adrian, but we want to be able...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- For all of the offseason maneuvering, free-agent signings and new draft picks, the Minnesota Vikings' 2013 season hinges on the continued development of quarterback Christian Ponder.
It's the basic premise of the NFL: A team's success is dependent on the quality of its quarterback play. Minnesota knows the inescapable truth. Ponder, often maligned...
With the growing trend of two tight end sets, John Carlson is a valuable commodity to book end with second year Pro-Bowler Kyle Rudolph.
Carlson was drafted by the Seahawks in the second round (38th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft and spent four years in Seattle before signing a five-year, $25 million contract with the Vikings in 2012.
Carlson suffered a Grade 2 sprain of the...
This is still kinds weird to see Jennings in a Vikings uni. Going from Favre to Rodgers is one thing, going from Rodgers to Ponder is another.

New Vikings Punter Loves To Hold The Ball
The Vikings have enacted personnel changes at receiver, but they also believe Christian Ponder has changed. The proof will be in the numbers this year, one of them average last year and one of them among the worst.
There are plenty of storylines to track in Minnesota this year. The team made the playoffs a year ago and Adrian Peterson topped 2,000 yards...
Vikings linebacker Chad Greenway is focused on being ready for training camp and is confident he will be after minor knee surgery last week.

Love this pic and the new unis for the Vikings are bad ass as well. 81 more days!

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. The Minnesota Vikings confirmed former Green Bay Packers linebacker Desmond Bishop was in for a workout with the team, but the team says it is just doing its "due diligence" in checking out the former leading tackler for Green Bay.
Minnesota still has an undetermined spot open at linebacker, currently on the weakside after Erin Henderson's move...
