Leach Coming Back to Houston?

At the end of the 2010 season fan favorite and then starting fullback Vonta Leach left via free agency to join the Baltimore Ravens. There was some speculation on what might happen to Leach, and then this morning this came out.   Just spoke with Vonta Leach’s...

Dolphins not wasting any time, Vonta Leach expected to visit on Wednesday

The Dolphins will host free agent FB Vonta Leach on Wednesday. Leach has a coaching staff connection in Miami; offensive coordinator Mike Sherman was on the Packers and Texans’ staffs when Leach played there. I don’t understand the move honestly because they already have Jorvorskie Lane, who is better than 80 percent of the fullbacks out there.  Leach would be an enormous upgrade...

Fullback Vonta Leach says his time with the Baltimore Ravens is over. Leach made the Pro Bowl in both his seasons with Baltimore and played a significant role in helping the Ravens win the Super Bowl in February. Ravens release Vonta Leach, best traditional fullback in the league...

Maybe this move says more about where the Ravens are going to go in the future on offense than it says about where they've been.. But where they've been has been pretty solid thanks to veteran fullback Vonta Leach.           Is it a money move? Kinda... Leach was set to make $4 milz... But... more telling is the offensive theory...

Ravens FB Vonta Leach To Be Released?

The Baltimore Ravens are reportedly set to release FB Vonta Leach this week if he is unwilling to renegotiate his contract. According to Pro Football Focus, Vonta was the best lead blocker in the NFL during 2012 and if let...

Ravens likely to part ways with Vonta Leach

It was reported today that the Baltimore Ravens are looking to part ways with fullback Vonta Leach if the two sides are unable to come to a contract restructure. Leach is unlikely to take the pay cut, and it is also unlikely that a team will trade for a $3 million fullback (the amount that Leach is owed for this upcoming season). The Ravens have let Leach know that he will be either...
