As the dust settles on the blockbuster Darrelle Revis trade, it's clear the All-Pro cornerback chased every penny of his historic $96 million contract with the Bucs. Color Warren Sapp unsurprised. The former Buccaneer and current NFL Network analyst slammed Revis for possessing a "selfish," me-first mentality, something Sapp was rarely privy to in Tampa. “He's selfish and he's never been a team player,'' Sapp told the Tampa Tribune. “We didn't win the championship that way. Derrick Brooks and I always cared more about the team than ourselves.'' Sapp's comments are a stark departure from other ex-Bucs who gave their opinions on the matter. John Lynch called Revis a "game-changer," while Brian Kelly and Raheem Morris lauded him as the league's best corner. Given the past, though, it's hard to argue with Sapp's take.
