Watch: Cardinals QB Kyler Murray with another ridiculous TD run
Could Kyler Murray potentially be the next young QB to win MVP after earning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors last season? Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson. Two young quarterbacks who put up unparalleled sophomore campaigns to earn NFL MVP honors.

Mahomes did that back in 2018 with the Kansas City Chiefs, tallying some absurd numbers in the process. Meanwhile, Jackson earned the NFL’s top individual honor as a sophomore last season.

Could Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray potentially follow suit after earning NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year honors last season? Through the first two-plus weeks of the 2020 season, it sure the heck looks like that’s a possibility.

Murray and his undefeated Cardinals are taking on the winless Detroit Lions during NFL Week 3 on Sunday. While Detroit actually held a 17-13 lead at the half, it’s this one play from Murray that has everyone talking.

Talk about a welcome to the NFL moment for Detroit Lions rookie first-round selection Jeff Okudah. The top-three pick should just be thankful that his ankle is in one piece after being put in a blender by Murray.

To be fair to Mr. Okudah, we’ve seen other more veteran defenders on the wrong end of a highlight-reel run from Murray already this season.
