WATCH: How did Carson Wentz escape this prison?
Wentz showing off a preternatural ability to scramble. Eric Hartline-USA Today Sports

Carson Wentz was trapped. He was absolutely, dead to rights stuffed in the backfield as the Washington Redskins defensive line closed in on all sides. Then he magically disappeared.

Instead of being sacked, Wentz ended up taking off for a 17-yard gain, utilizing what we’re pretty sure was magic as his tool of choice. Either that or his incredible wits, wheels and instincts.

A handful of plays later, Wentz finished off the drive with a 10-yard touchdown strike to Nelson Agholor, his fourth of the game.

The Eagles took a commanding 31-17 lead at this point in the game, and Wentz was in full control.
