The Victory Formation:
President George H.W. Bush made Houston his home after leaving office way back when in 1993 and our 41st Commander-in-Chief was asked the Houston Texans to take moment out of his retirement by unveiling the organization’s new cheerleading squad. Needless to say, he was damn excited about it. Those are some friggin fancy and patriotic socks. But he’s a President, so he can do whatever he wants. Here are some additional photos from the day: Good to see Mr Bush enjoying life again, as he battled a nasty case of bronchitis which hospitalized him late in 2012. It isn’t quite jumping out of the plane, but probably just as exhilarating for him. H/T Twitchy Photos courtesy AP

This is why I used to want to the the President; not because I wanted to make a difference in the world, have an impact on society, or make sure that history knew my name. I wanted to be able to retire after the four longest years of my life and enjoy making appearances like the one former President George H.W. Bush got to make.
The lucky dog got introduce the new Houston Texans...
