N.Y. Jets at St. Louis Sunday, 1:00 p.m. ET, at Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis - TV: CBS; DirecTV: 712 *TV announcers: Ian Eagle, Dan Fouts *Keys to the game: The Jets have been outscored 58-16 over their past two games and failed to score an offensive touchdown last week. QB Mark Sanchez hasn't lost his job yet, but he continues to make poor decisions with the ball and Tim Tebow's role increased at Seattle. Most important for the Jets is getting RB Shonn Greene untracked early, controlling field position and avoiding turnovers. The Rams can get after the passer, so the last thing a Jets team striving to control the clock wants to see is Sanchez bringing his eyes down early in anticipation of DEs Robert Quinn and Chris Long bearing down on him. Rams RBs Steven Jackson and Daryl Richardson combined for 159 rushing yards against a strong San Francisco run defense last week. That set the table for a very efficient outing for QB Sam Bradford, who immediately benefitted from the return of WR Danny Amendola. *Matchup to watch - Jets CB Aaron Berry vs. Amendola: Amendola was targeted 12 times and came up with 11 catches last week in his return from an SC joint injury and the Rams move him around looking for mismatches. Berry, the former Detroit Lion, is playing a bigger role in nickel packages since Darrelle Revis was lost for the season. It will be interesting to see who the Jets decide to have Antonio Cromartie shadow. *Player spotlight - Rams WRs Chris Givens & CB Janoris Jenkins: Both have flashed playmaking potential as rookies, but were inactive for a violation of team rules last week. Givens provides an important vertical threat, while Jenkins typically starts and slides inside in nickel packages. *Fast facts: Sanchez has a 66.8 passer rating on the road this season. ... Amendola has 42 receptions in the five games he has started this season. WHO WILL WIN AND WHY The Rams have a legitimate offensive identity with a pair of productive running backs complemented by catch machine Danny Amendola helping St. Louis keep drives churning. The Jets lack any such identity and the leash on QB Mark Sanchez has to be getting shorter by the stalled drive. *Our pick: Rams 23-20
