There’s not much time for chit-chat this week, so let’s get right into the Week 11 lines, shall we?
As always, these are coming at you via Bovada.lv.
Philadelphia at Washington (-4)
The Eagles are a complete mess, and they’ll turn to Nick Foles at quarterback when they head into Washington to face the scuffling Redskins who are coming off their bye.
Green Bay (-3.5) at Detroit
The Packers are rolling, and they’re road favorites against NFC North rival Detroit.
Arizona at Atlanta (-10)
The Falcons look to rebound after their first loss of the season, and luckily for them they’ll try to do so against the lowly Cardinals.
Tampa Bay (-2) at Carolina
The Bucs have something going on down in Tampa Bay, but they’ll need to beat the Panthers on the road to attempt to prove they’re for real.
Cleveland at Dallas (-8)
It’s unlikely this will be a good football game.
New York Jets at St. Louis (-3.5)
Jacksonville at Houston (-15.5)
The Jaguars are quite possibly the worst team in foo...
BEST OF MAXIM
So it seems that as soon as I give my vote of confidence to a certain player, they have a knack for underperforming.
Last week’s article featured a picture of Buccaneers running back Doug Martin. He followed up his monster week 9 with a pedestrian week 10, rushing for just 68 yards. Martin did have 51 receiving yards, but failed to score for the first time since week 6.
The Saints seem to have things together, is it too late to make a playoff push?
After a rough Week 10, I'm sitting at 92-54-1. Who wants to keep track of a tie.
Let's see if I can turn this around this week.
Arizona at Atlanta - The Cards need to get some production from the QB position if they want any chance to make playoff this season.
The New Orleans Saints offered up head coach Sean Payton a contract extension recently but the NFL league office decided to void the extension, making Payton a free agent head coach at the conclusion of the regular season. When the news broke of Payton’s impending free agency, several pundits speculated that he might jump to the Dallas Cowboys.
Mike Triplett of the Times-Picayune...
Reports out of the New Orleans market are painting a picture that free agent head coach Sean Payton will weigh his options prior to firmly committing to a return to the Saints.

New Orleans Saints running back Darren Sproles was back at
practice yesterday after being sidelined for the past several weeks due to a
hand injury. The speedy back was full-go and it looks like he’ll be ready to
play this weekend when the Saints take on the Oakland Raiders.
Sproles underwent surgery on his broken left hand in the
beginning of Nov. While the recovery time was...
Chris Ivory has played so well the last two weeks there's almost no way the Saints can go back to shelving him on the inactive list again. If nothing else, he's secured his spot in the rotation as a situational runner for the Saints. But why did it take so long for the Saints to plug him in there, especially when Mark Ingram had performed so poorly, and why are the Saints...
The New Orleans Saints listed running Darren Sproles as questionable for Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders. Sproles has missed the past two weeks after undergoing surgery on a hand that was injured in a loss to Denver in week eight. Interim coach Joe Vitt said Friday that Sproles experienced some swelling in the hand. If Sproles plays Sunday, Saints offensive coordinator...
According to Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, Sean Payton isn’t expected to re-sign with the Saints right away. He’ll continue to keep his options open and right now. The only real option aside from going back to New Orleans, would be to sign with the Cowboys since his kids live in Dallas and he has a great relationship with Jerry Jones.
From talking with...
Nigel Adkins' Southampton won 3-1 at winless QPR in a match dubbed 'El Sackico'.
The futures of both managers were subject to intense speculation in the build-up to a Loftus Road encounter contested by the sides bottom and second-bottom of the standings.
QPR and Southampton had conceded 49 league goals between them prior to the game and the hosts' defence was breached...
Last week: 20 (+2)
They’re the least likely of the three 2011 playoff teams who are currently 4-5 to go 1-6 and be this year’s team that goes from the playoffs to 5 wins or fewer, but I guess we can’t rule them out. They probably won’t be that team, however. That being said, they’re overrated. Yes, they knocked off Atlanta, but Dallas, Carolina, Washington,...
Gameday is here and with it comes a chance for the Saints to claw their way back to .500 for the first time since week 2! For them to get to 5-5 after an 0-4 start would be somewhat miraculous, but also necessary to have any shot at the postseason. The opponent is an extremely beatable one, but the "easier" games, which don't truly exist in the NFL, are the ones the...
Saints head coach Sean Payton had his contract voided by the NFL two weeks ago. Since then, there has been plenty of speculation on where he might land. Places like Cleveland, Philadelphia, San Diego and Dallas have been brought up repeatedly.
Since the news broke, I’ve said that I don’t think he goes anywhere but New Orleans and that they’d work out an extension that the league...
