NFL Injury Report:
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington RedskinsMonday Septermber 9th 7:00 PM (EST)Line: Redskins by 4 & 1/2My pick 'em record: (0-1)The Eagles and Redskins help cap off a great first weekend of NFL football in the first game of a doubleheader on ESPN's "Monday Night Football". A lot of storylines surround the two NFC East rivals as Monday night's matchup draws closer. This will be our first real look at Chip Kelly's new offensive system that he has installed in Philadelphia. The offense will be very similar to the fast paced offense that Kelly ran as head coach of the Oregon Ducks. I expect Michael Vick, Lesean McCoy, Desean Jackson & company to thrive in Kelly's fast paced offense. But will it be enough to get the Eagles a Week 1 win? I'll let you know later on, just keep reading. We will get our first glimpse of "RG III 2.0" (I should patent that) Monday night as Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III makes his highly anticipated return to the gridiron after spending the last eight months recovering from a torn ACL injury that he suffered in a 24-14 wild card round loss to the Seattle Seahawks. It will be interesting to see what changes, if any, head coach Mike Shanahan makes to the Redskins offensive playbook in order to protect his franchise quarterback. And now as promised earlier, I will make my game prediction. I expect both offenses to light up the scoreboard in a very fast paced game. The Eagles will put up much more of a fight than many people expect them to. It will not be enough for a win but take Philly to cover the four-and-a-half point spread.Final score: Redskins 34 Eagles 31.Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?Follow Chris Hecker on Twitter: @HeckDynasty

Chip Kelly impressed football fans everywhere by leading the Philadelphia Eagles to a road win over the Washington Redskins on Monday night in his NFL coaching debut. Fans saw the Eagles do exactly what they were used to seeing out of Kelly’s Oregon Ducks: a fast-paced spread offense that runs a lot of plays in […]
After running 30 plays in his first 15 minutes of Chip Kelly football, even Michael Vick was ready for a break.
''I've never been a part of anything like it,'' the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback said. ''When the first quarter was over, I thought we was about to go into halftime. It was unreal. The only thing I could tell myself was, `It's going to...
The NFL world has been waiting for a glimpse of what exactly former Oregon head coach Chip Kelly was going to bring to the Pro level and we all get a glimpse this evening as the Philadelphia Eagles visit the Washington Redskins. Kelly is famous for his high octane scheme in the college ranks, but many have questioned is ability to implement his style of play to the pro game.
Alas, it begins. The Philadelphia Eagles are going to run an incredibly fast-paced offense under Chip Kelly this season. If all goes to plan, they’ll be wearing out defenses the way they did against the Washington Redskins on Monday night. And if Kelly’s up-tempo attack finds success, be prepared to hear about how opponents are […]

The football season got off to an exciting start last weekend. Chip Kelly’s Eagles gave us a glimpse of what his offense is going to look like. Larry Fitzgerald caught eight passes from a quarterback who was able to actually get the ball within his zip code once in awhile. And Anthony Maggio kept fantasy footballers informed with updated rankings right through Sunday’s kickoffs...
While Michael Vick had a very good game last night, he was still very reckless while running with the football.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly told the media today that it’s too late to try and change how Vick plays.
Those headfirst Mike Vick slides? Chip Kelly knows what battles are worth it, says, "I don't think at 33 we're going to get him to change."
As exciting as Chip Kelly’s offense in Philadelphia may be, it may already be on its way out. The reason? Michael Vick, the player the offense absolutely cannot function without, is taking way too many hits already, and it seems unlikely he’ll last an entire season.
“We saw Vick limping around. Vick's not gonna last,” former general manager Charley Casserly said Tuesday...

More takes on the Eagles...
High-speed execution by supreme athletes on offense is the lightning... and the bottle is smart judgement on when to rein it in.
Sometimes you have to throw away a play...and live for the next down. It's a situational thing.
If Chip Kelly can get his boys to take it up a notch from here to there, look out...
You could see the enthusiasm in the Kelly game plan...
The Chip Kelly Era appeared to be off to a good start on the first drive of the Monday night game between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Washington Redskins, but a scene that was all too familiar for Eagles fans happened.
I haven't checked Twitter yet, but I am sure that there are some calling for Michael Vick's head already; some folks are...

> Washing- ton Fan knew, from just about the first play, that this wasn't going to be a lot of fun for them
> Eagles HC Chip Kelly got immediate love from Eagle Fan by going for it on fourth and 1 from the Washington 21, showing no doubt, and just playing smash mouth football against an undersized and tired defense
> If you are wondering...
The NFC East is possibly the most watched, dissected, scrutinized, and competitive division in the NFL. No matter the team that is at the heart of the public’s ire toward the division, no team is safe from being thoroughly pounded by analysts, writers, fans, and sports talk radio. While this may be the case for every team and every division in the NFL, no division seems to get...

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Washington Redskins 33-27 on Monday Night Football and I paid a whole lot of attention this time guys. I swear. Although I may have blinked and missed a few plays (to use the same hackneyed analogy that half the sports writers out there will be using this week), I paid pretty close attention. So, I’ve got that...
