Last week the Titans were involved in an absolute shootout with the Detroit Lions and came away with a big win for them as a team.
The Texans are coming back home with a 3-0 record for the first time in franchise history.
Tennessee Titans (1-2): Jake Locker is playing a bit better than expected and is starting to make those decisions that head coach Mike Munchak is "happy to see."
Chris Johnson has been downright awful and is facing an amazing rush defense. I beg of you, don't play him. I repeat do not play him.
Kenny Britt rolled his ankle last Sunday and when asked if he would play this week his response was "possibly." If he does suit up this match-up is tough and would be a risky play.
Nate Washington had over 100 yards receiving once again last week but it was a bit fluky as one of them was for a 71-yard catch and run touchdown.
Kendall Wright is not yet matchup proof and this matchup is way too tough.
Jared Cook is nursing a shoulder injury but is expected to play.
Good starts: --
Middle of the road: --
Bad starts: Jake Locker, Kenny Britt, Nate Washington, Kendall Wright, Chris Johnson, Jared Cook
Houston Texans (3-0): Matt Schaub threw four touchdown passes last week and this week's matchup is another friendly one. Be warned though that the Texans lean more on the run than pass so you need Schaub to throw touchdowns because he will not throw for that many yards.
Arian Foster is a must-play every week.
Ben Tate is effective when he gets the ball, the score usually reflects that aspect. If it is a blowout, which this game could be, he will see the ball plenty. If it is close, not so much.
Andre Johnson has already had two big games this season and is also a must play this week against the Titans' secondary.
Owen Daniels had a slow three quarters last week but was able to get it in the end zone in the fourth quarter. Finishing with 3-26-1.
Good starts: Matt Schaub, Arian Foster, Andre Johnson, Owen Daniels
Middle of the road: Ben Tate
Bad starts: Kevin Walter
