What I think the Eagles need to do to get back in the playoffs

The Eagles stuggled most of the past season but finished on a three game winning streak finisihing the year 8-8. Some of the positions that must be addressed this offseason would be:
1. Wide Reciever
I hear a lot of people saying we need another corner back but i think this team needs another wide reciever first. You cant win if you cant score, and to many times this year the Eagles finished with 13 or 16 points puttting it on the defense to come through.
Possibilities
A. Chad Johnson
You here his name come up enough but it is almost guaranteed that he will not be an Eagle come the start of the next season. Chad is going about things all wrong, running his mouth, pushing reporters, and oh yea Drew Rosenhaus is his agent to top it all off. Kind of remindes you of Terrell Owens a little bit huh? Andy Reid and Eagles managment will not take a chance on Chad.
B. Larry Fitzgerald
Larry was rumored earlier about possibly wanting to come to Philadelphia and play football for the Eagles. He would be a great talent with the size he posses and the amount of talent he brings to the table. He brings in a big frame in the red zone and could help increase points in the redzone which was a something the Eagles had trouble with this past season. Though it would be nice, I dont see this happening. The Cardinals seem like they need to hold onto him for the rest of the year and I believe they will. Rumor has it they have made an offer to him and the amount Fitz is asking for is big. The Eagles dont have a lot of cap room and most likely dont wont to blow it all on one guy, it isnt really their style. I dont see it happening
Roy Williams
This seemed like a possibilty earlier in the week but it seems as though it is going down, down, down. The Lions seem like they arent going to give Roy up unless they get an amazing offer, which I dont see the Eagles doing because there are other recievers out there. If it does happen he would be a great tallent to compliment Curtis and Brown (if he is still on the team).
Javon Walker:
Reports are going around that Javon Walker might be getting cut, because of the up-and-coming star the Broncos have in Brandon Marshall. Walker is rumored to want out of Denver and the Eagles went after Walker hard when the Packers first traded him. Walker is a great player, but this is the second team he has spoken out on. It will be interesting to see if the Eagles pursue him
Donte Stallworth
This is seeming like the best option right now. Stallworth is most likely going to get cut for cap reasons, making him an unrestircted free agent. Stallworth had great chemistry with Mcnabb last year and together they were putting up big numbers. This gives the Eagles two speed demons in Stallworth and Curtis. These are two guys that can get down the field and can be the playmakers Donovan Mcnabb wants to see
Benard Berian
Lastly, Bernard Berian could be an option. He has a bigger frame, but still has the speed to get down field. It seems unlikely that he will be franchised, because that would put the bears in a whole with their cap. The bears also probably want to give lance Briggs big money after the reports about Urlacher getting surgery on his neck. Berian could be a potential free agent and it would be a solid pick up for the Eagles to add with Walker or Stallworth. Getting two proven recievers is what the Eagles need to do to put points on the board. The Patriots got big recievers and everyone knows how that played out
Cornerback
The Eagles do need another corner to add to the bunch. Watching all of the games this year, at times the corners were great (last Dallas Game) and sometimes they were horrible (Seattle). Playing in a division that has many good recievers (Washington has Moss, Randle El and Lloyd, New York with Burress, Toomer, and Smith, and Dallas with Owens possibly Glenn and Crayton) the need for 3 solid corners is crucial. These are some possibilities.
Asante Samuel
Chris Mortensen reported the Eagles to be targeting Samuel and he would be a great addition to this group of corners. Lito Sheppard is a Pro Bowl player when healthy and Sheldon Brown is proven to be a hard-hitting good coverage corner. Samuel creates turnovers and always seems to be making plays on the ball. Only problem is his asking price is almost certainly going to be high. Nate Clements deal last year had very big numbers, and Samuel will probably want the same or higher. I dont know if the Eagles go that high to bring him in.
Marcus Trufant
Trufant played great football this year for Seattle and it earned him a trip to the Pro Bowl. He is a difference making corner and would help create turnovers. He doesnt seem like he is poised to stay in Seattle, saying "At the end of the day, its just business." He is overshadowed by Samuel, but Trufant makes plays. Would be a great pick up for the Eagles.
Adam 'Pacman' Jones- This would be an interesting pick up wouldn't it? Jones is a great corner but missed this past year with a suspension. The Tittans have already said they are going to cut Jones, and it would be interesting to see if the Eagles pursure him. You would think Jones would come cheap because of his off-field actions, and also he can play kickoff/punt returner. Jones is a risk because of the trouble he runs into, but it will be interesting to see if the Eagles pursued him.
Other Possibilties
Dont be suprised if the Eagles sign Defensive End Calvin Pace from Arizona. He is a young defensive end who recorded 6.5 sacks last year, and would be great to compliment Trent Cole. He wouldnt cost as much as say a Jared Allen. It seems like the Chiefs might decide to tag Allen anyway, so Pace would be a good pick up.
Mike Doss is an unresticted free agent saftey and could be a solid pick up to compliment Dawkins. Doss played solid for the Colts, and if brought into a system like the Eagles, he could be a solid player again. He would fill the void at saftey that the Eagles seem to have.
GO EAGLES!!
See Ya in Tampa
