(Note: I'll be traveling over the weekend. Monday's post will be a comparison of the 1997 and 1999 Colts to show how the roster was turned over in two years). With the Colts on a bye week, no harm can be done. There are four teams with two wins right now: Carolina, Miami, Minnesota, and St. Louis. As of this morning, the tie breaker standings for the first overall pick look like this: Strength of Schedule (16 games): Carolina: 75-70 (.517) Miami: 77-70 (.524) Indianapolis: 80-68 (.541) St. Louis: 83-63 (.568) Minnesota: 85-61 (.579) The Colts play Carolina next week. An Indianapolis win would certainly make things interesting down the stretch. There is still time for this tie-breaker to come into play.
