(Note: I'll be traveling over the weekend. Monday's post will be a comparison of the 1997 and 1999 Colts to show how the roster was turned over in two years).

With the Colts on a bye week, no harm can be done. There are four teams with two wins right now: Carolina, Miami, Minnesota, and St. Louis. As of this morning, the tie breaker standings for the first overall pick look like this:

Strength of Schedule (16 games):

Carolina: 75-70 (.517)

Miami: 77-70 (.524)

Indianapolis: 80-68 (.541)

St. Louis: 83-63 (.568)

Minnesota: 85-61 (.579)

The Colts play Carolina next week. An Indianapolis win would certainly make things interesting down the stretch. There is still time for this tie-breaker to come into play.

EASY CALLS:

Raiders at VIKINGS
Bills at DOLPHINS
Seahawks at RAMS
PANTHERS at Lions

The first four games are obvious. Root for the two win teams. If they get to three wins, then Indy probably won't have to worry about tie-breakers, and you go back to happily rooting for the Colts to win, safely knowing they have locked up the top pick. These are the games to watch. Wins by Carolina and Miami would be the biggest help, because they currently have the tie-breaker over Indianapolis.

Jaguars at BROWNS
Titans at FALCONS

AFC South losses count double.

CHARGERS at Bears
Chiefs at PATRIOTS

I know, I know. But it hurts Miami when the Pats and Chargers win.

Bucs at PACKERS

Indy played Tampa. Every loss by them helps.

TOUGH CALLS:

Cowboys at REDSKINS

Carolina and Minnesota played Washington, so wins for the 'Skins hurt them.

CARDINALS at 49ers

A win for the Cards takes them to 4 wins, but also hurts the Panthers and Vikes.
