While nothing has been consummated between the New York Jets and the New Orleans Saints, you still get the feeling a deal for running back Chris Ivory will be complete before the NFL Draft or shortly after the Draft begins.According to ProFootballTalk.com, Saints general manager told reporters on Tuesday that he had in fact talked to the Jets about possibly trading the backup running back. Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune reported in the story, that Loomis also said that there have been discussions with other teams regarding a deal for Ivory.Trading for Ivory makes so much sense for the Jets, its almost seems that it would not happen for that reason. There has been a lot of transition in New York over the offseason, dealing with quarterback issues, coaching changes on the offense, Tim Tebow and of course dealing Darrelle Revis to Tampa Bay.The decision to deal Ivory may be the easiest decision the team will make in the next few hours.Ivory signed as a free agent by the...

WINTER IS COMING
George R.R. Martin, a big Jets fan and brilliant author of the books behind the HBO series "Game of Thrones," slammed the team for the Darrelle Revis trade.
The New Orleans Saints overhaul the back-end of their defense by selecting with the 15th overall pick Kenny Vaccaro the star safety out of Texas. He is an excellent tackler with strong closing speed that head coach Sean Payton loves . One of the best all-around athletes at the position and has the game tape to prove it. Vaccaro, who ran a 4.63 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine...
Today I'm going to touch on something that suddenly came to me whilst watching NFL Total Access. I was sitting there thinking about the Draft coming up and how bad the Jets are going to be this year, and I got to thinking, "I would not at all be surprised if they went 0-16". That lead me to think that it would not happen because every year, without fail, any team in...
Should the Jets go offense or defense in round one? Before the Revis trade this was a simpler question, they only had one pick therefore they could only go with offense or defense, but now they have two of the first 13 picks and could focus on one side or the other or take one of both.To me the answer to this question is simple, offense, defense, it doesn't matter just take the...
It's funny writing about the NFL Draft. There's two sides to the equation and you can't really take both and talk about all the possibilities without pumping out an essay that people lose interest in half way through. It's you write about what the Jets should do, or what the Jets will probably do.Part 1 of this article (discussing the Jets ninth overall selection...
Joe Caporoso, Chris Gross, Mike Nolan and Mike Donnelly will be running live mock draft starting at 7PM tonight. Follow it right here.
He's the one that looks like he's probably a fantasy writer.
Well, actually I think the books are called Song of Ice and Fire, but you get what I mean.
Acclaimed author George R.R. Martin's books are what the popular HBO TV series Game of Thrones is based on.
Other than spending his time dreaming up scenarios involving dragons, swords, sex and dead children, Martin...
It's been an ugly divorce for Darrelle Revis and the New York Jets as the star defensive back had some choice words for his former team.
The Jets haven't been receiving much love lately from the people that, by definition, should support them.
After trading their best player Darelle Revis to the Buccaneers a lot of attention was placed on the two first round picks they would be making. Many wondered how they would replace their franchise player. They ended up doing it with another corner, Dee Milliner...
Tony Pauline of TFY Draft Insider reports that sources have informed him that the Jets will consider drafting quarterback with an “early choice.“
Pauline adds that Jets GM John Idzik, “fear missing on one of the quarterbacks in this draft.”
It was explained to Pauline that the team doesn’t expect to win this season, so it really doesn’t matter who is starting for them...
With the 15th selection of the 2013 NFL Draft, the New Orleans Saints select Kenny Vaccaro, Safety out of Texas.
This is a player that can have an immediate impact for the Saints.
His freshman year he appeared in all 13 games, both as a safety and on special teams. He made 19 tackles, blocked 1 punt and also forced a fumble in a game vs. Texas A&M.
In his sophomore year, he saw...
